Ink R.V.F.D. would like to invite everyone to their annual fish fry this Saturday, May 16th starting at 4:00. Will be serving fish and all the trimings. Don't forget about those mouth watering homemade desserts will be serving also.

We have two bands to keep you entertained while eating, Journeys End
and Bob Dowdy & the Mountain Bluegrass Boys.

There will be door prizes and we will be raffling off the chance to win one of two $100 Wal-Mart gift cards.

Our department is a volunteer, non dues department. We really rely on our fundraisers and your donations to keep us going.

So come and bring your family and friends to visit us at our fish fry.

Cost is a donation at the door for an afternoon full of fun and entertainment.

Okay forget my last statement. We went and looked at our parking area, and it is way too wet for people to park unless they want to get stuck or go mudding.

So I say this with much regret that we will have to cancel the fish fry this saturday and I will post the date when we reschedule it.

The Fish Fry has been rescheduled for Sat., June 20th. Bob Dowdy and the Mtn. Blue Grass Boys will still be playing, but at this time we do not know who else we might have for entertainment.

Big Bear and friends has very graciously accepted our request to play at our fundraiser.

For the first time we will be having a silent auction. Some of the department members have volunteered to put their heads on the auction plate to have a pie thrown in their face. At this time they are Dan Hostetler (Ink F.D. Chief), James Cochran (training officer), Loyd Shrum (our resident loud mouth), and James Earl Turner (do I really need to introduce him?).

We have had several folks ask what the schedule is for the Music at the Ink Fish Fry, so here is the way it looks at this time.

We (Big Bear and Friends) will start the show at appox 4:15 and play till appox. 5:30 then Bob Dowdy and the Mtn. Bluegrass Boys will take the stage and play till the end of the show/event.

We hope you will all come on out for some great food and good vistin'

It should be a great time with all the music and food! Mrs. Goodwrench will start baking Fri. night so with all the other baked goods from the other ladies and plenty of fish, nobody better leave hungry! :thumb:

All The Kudos need to go up to Larry Dunaway and his crew.....Larry gives unselfishly year after year to the Ink RVFD.....He has a heart for the dept and what the volunteers are trying to accomplish.....Larry goes way above and beyond what ANYONE could expect!!!
