After several instances of members feeling that it's acceptable to question administrative actions taken on the board, the admins feel it's necessary to post this so that some things are clear to those that appear not to understand the rules.
Since we have admins that do participate in debates and post threads on the forum, we think it's important for members to be able to ascertain the difference between an administrative action and a post.
If an admin, any admin, posts in red on a thread or the open board, that's an administrative action. Administrative actions are not open to debate or comment. If you feel the need to respond to an administrative action, please use your PM feature to do so. Using the open board to debate/comment on administrative actions will be taken as admonishing an admin and will incur the consequences of that action.
There is no one member who is above the rules here. The rules apply to all and are administered fairly by admins. Some members have seemingly forgotten the amount of time and work the administrators put in on this forum without compensation. This is done out of a love and respect of our neighbors and community. All that is asked is that members follow the rules here.
Thank you,
Mena Forum Administration Team
