The admins are starting to regret creating this political forum here. But, we do know that people like to discuss certain issues and we believe in free speech, so we have it here. Lately the admins haven't been spending as much time on the forum as we used to. We had no idea a member had posted those horrible pics until a pm was received from other members.

Usually, the only members who get their 'hands slapped' are those that admonish the admins here, or accuse us of one thing or the other. We are put in a rather tricky spot of trying to allow free speech and at the same time not let things get too far out of hand. It isn't easy, believe me. Sometimes you are damned if you do and damned if you don't. For those that you DO make happy, there are others that won't be.

We don't feel the need to expound upon this particular issue.

Members are not made aware of what goes on behind the scenes when admins deal with other members through pm. This is a privacy issue between admins and the member being dealt with, not the open board. If members feel that they want to make it their business, pm the member you're concerned with, DO NOT start a thread to make private issues a public matter.

Lastly, if members are incapable of trusting the forum owners and admins of making unbiased decisions and dealing with members appropriately on the rules, then this is not the place for you. ALL sides of the issues are welcome here, not just one. If you're offended by straight talk, or as some members prefer to use, implied talk, this forum is not the place for you. If you're easily offended or are thin-skinned, maybe the political forum is not the place for you.

There are plenty of other areas on a forum this large where you will not be offended by what transpires there. We expect members that participate in the political section to be adults, sometimes that deals with issues others here may find offensive. If this applies to you, don't post or read there. This is to save more sensitive members from offense.

The politics forum is NOT a conservative, right-wing forum. This forum is for everybody, and we need to make sure that the name calling stops, the brutal accusations stop, and remember that we have our youth reading here as well.

If you have pictures or topics you'd like to discuss that may be considered offensive, please do so in the "Mosh Pit." If you do not have the password for that protected forum you may pm an admin for it once you reach the 25 post requirement.

We value ALL of our members here. The admins donate their time and efforts to keep this place running as smoothly as possible, keep the spammers out, and deal with all of the behind-the-scenes work and pm requests. We'd like to thank all of the members who give us a 'heads-up' via pm when they notice something that needs dealing with, please keep it up!
