Grace Bible Church will host Financial Peace University, a 13 week program on personal finance. I am the volunteer coordinator for the class.

The introductory video will be tonight - Friday Sept 4 at 6:30 pm. The same video can be viewed online at http://www.daveramsey.com/fpu/church/index...ction=dspVideos. Plus there are other videos on that page about Financial Peace University.

The first class will be Friday September 18 at 6:30 pm. Classes last 2 hours (or less). We will meet once a week on Fridays at 6:30 pm. I plan to skip the Friday of Thanksgiving week.

During class we watch a DVD video of Dave Ramsey teaching then we break out into small groups for discussion of the day's topic.

During the last Financial Peace University that I coordinated we had two families pay off all of their credit cards and one family paid off their home! :clap:

Wish I was in town for this. I listened to DAve Ramsey from Memphis to Louisville on one road trip. I love him.

It was disappointing Friday when no one came to the Financial Peace Intro meeting. Right now it looks like I will not be holding the class.

However, if some interest gets stirred up here I can hold the class.
