What's up with KENA's website? I have it bookmarked. But, when I try to go there, I am diverted to GoDaddy.com.

I got the same thing. Hope this isn't permanent. I depend on the site for local news and obits.

Just talked with Dwight a few minutes ago.
They are in the process of designing a new web site and should have it up and running in a few days.
Due to some technical complications, the Go-Daddy host had to close the old web site down.

Dwight was apologetic about the inconvenience, and was glad to know the site has been missed by us. :thumb:

I really think you should post complete news articles on your web site. It would be a good thing to do for the hearing impaired. And, it would look great in your public service file come license renewal time.

Surely your local news is typed up on a word processor. Just copy and
paste it to the web site. But please do a spelling and grammer check first. Then re-read the article before posting. Remember the old live copy spot about the "Master Baster" oven?

It's not that hard, is it? I mean, you post complete swap shop items and classified and obits. Why not complete local news items?

KENA has had pictures on their web site for several days, but they still don't know how to make the play bar work! :rant:

KENA has their site working, even the play bars. Now the bad news, the articles are from OCTOBER 7th and 8th! :rolleyes:

The site was kept up and run well until a certain person left their employ.

A certain person we were all warned about by the administrators at this forum. :clap: I'm glad I listened, maybe others should've too. :whistle:

Bingo Pro & Farmer Smith, I think you are both talking about two different individuals.
The KENA website was designed and set up by the person whom the admins. warned us about.
However, the site was maintained and run well by a former employee at the station whom I met long ago; and he is NOT the person whom we were warned about. :thumb:

AND he was fired for no good reason.

I don't know the details, but I always thought he was a pretty decent young man.

Was it DD's decision alone to make or was it made for him? :dunno:
