Soldier's Angels, a non profit 501©3 organization is sponsoring the fourth annual Day of the Deployed on October 26. Below is a link on how you can help support our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, should you choose to do so. This is a great project for church groups, scout groups, and school groups. Deployed military LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to get things from home. I know that a lot of the men and women like getting newspapers, even if they are old and not from their town. They love to get letters from kids and often, the soldier or Marine on the receiving end write back!
