If little rock hospital is a good hospital...i have to have surgry and im not familier with hospitals here in arkansas !!!!

My spouse had gall bladder surgery at Baptist a few years ago and it was fine a fine hospital.

all my doctor said i can have it done either here in mena or in little rock he didnt say what hospital..i have to have a hysteretomy done.

Dr Mesko did my wifes here and all went great.

but is your wife heavy set? hes concern he said heavy sets tend to bleed more ...so im concerned is the staff good and are they handy incase

From all accounts, we have a fine surgeon here in Mena, Dr. Mercer....he has great qualificiations and a very good reference from his previous employer...

Baptist and St. Vincent in Little Rock are excellent hospitals and can handle anything...I am currently in Little Rock right now at St.Vincents and my mother in law just came out of a surgery yesterdayon her brain....had a few complications but she is doing great....First class doctors and nurses....clean hospital....nice motel 100 yards from hospital....everything here is top notch.... :thumb:

I had breast surgery 6 years ago at Mena. (Still cancer free) :yip: :yip: :yip: :yays:

Every thing went great and I received excellent care.

You might consider the trip home. When you have had surgery, that can get to be a looooong trip.

Guesthouse Inn...at St Vincent.....tell them you are having something done at hospital and they will give you and family medical discount.....first rate rooms...big beds...flat screen tvs.....clean rooms.....laundry room...vending room.....nice comfortable place....and doctors and nurses at SV are all first class.....mother in law gets to come home Saturday.....hot dog.....be glad to get home... :thumb:
