ACH has launched its first flu hotline for “parents and families to call for more information if they have a sick child or would like to learn how to help prevent spreading the H1N1 virus.” The hotline offers two simple selections – (1) message for callers with a sick child or (2) message for callers with a well child – prevention message. All messages are pre-recorded. During the messages, the ACH Flu Hotline recommends after callers listen to the messages that they contact their doctor if they still have concerns or if their child is seriously ill.
