do explain. it is one thing to come on here and start stating people are ignorant and another to explain why you feel that way? You think that all of this should be ok? Or you don't believe what is actually happening? And if ignorant why not edumacate us poor ignates.

There's nothing wrong with 'ignorance'. Most people appreciate being educated in a civil manner.
But I do think it's wrong to walk into a room of people and start spouting off "ahh the abundant ignorance...".
Seems very similar to the Ft. Hood tragedy....walking into a room of people spouting off "Allah is great"......with the exception that he took people's lives.

I remember not too long ago, I voiced my conservative, right opinions and I was hit hard by some folks on this forum. There were personal attacks against me, not just my position or opinion. However, I hold fast to my opinions and belileve that I have more than adequate justification to back up my points. But, ultimately, my opinions are just those--opinions. I was ready pull back from the forum once not because I was going to take my toys and go home, but rather because the level of incivility was disturbing.

It seems as though the pendulum has swung to the right and those who hold more conservative views are no longer intimidated or afraid to voice them. Open and frank discussion should be welcomed, not squashed. I do agree that if you are going to throw out a cryptic flame post, the least you can do is elaborate. Argue based on merit, not emotions.

The fact is that this country has an enormous amount of illegal aliens residing in this country who are a drain on social service dollars. Asking United States citizens to continue to fund their (illegal) presence in the U.S. is just insane when we have enough problems to worry about without feeding additional mouths.
