Dan showed up. Why? He didn't know, but he was sure it had something to do with Jessica, and maybe just a bit of Meredith. Could call what Dan was doing crashing the party? Probably. He was after all out of high school and this was a high school party. Did it matter that everyone had been trying to get him to come? Mosty likely not, he was still crashing a high school party, and let me be the first to tell you, Dan felt lame.
Which is why he went out to the balcony where he thought he'd be alone for a little while, and he was right. There was no one out here, and he had a great veiw of the beach. Dan just sighed and drank more of his beer, contemplating going home. It's not like anyone knew he was here anyway.

Jessica, sweet innocent Jessica. Okay big fat lie. Jessica walked onto the balcony and saw an. When was the last time she saw him? A week ago? Two or three? Anyhow Jessica LOVED to see hm. No she pretty much loved him. But didn't bother telling him. She grinned sightly abd walked out to him. She tapped his shoulder and smiled. Well what else was she gonna do? Punch the shit out of him for NO good reason? Bad idea.
"Boo" Jessica smiled a Dan, before walking around him and sat on the edge of the balcony. Wasshe trying to kill herself? No she just wanted to sit there and look out. She didn't really say alot.. Well she said boo. But all night she had been quiet. She hadn't found any of her friends and then she found Dan, so quiet was what she wasn't anymore.

Dan was thinking about jumping off the balcony instead of leaving the party, but the Jess walked out. When she 'booed' him, Dan gave a small grin, and replied with a fake, 'ah'. He was going into one of those down, sad moods, and needed something to bring him out of it. Maybe Jess was just who he needed. When they had first gone out he was still in school, and his mother was having problems with her boy friend so Dan hadn't been the greatest boyfriend ever.
Maybe they could go out again and he'd be better? His mother wasn't dating, and there was no more school. Though, Dan wasn't really going anywhere in his life, he was still trying to figure it out. He watched her as he took a drink of his beer. What he was going to do was beyond him.

Jessica thought of tonight, and as she did she thought suicide. It was the most boring night of her life. Other words she'd rather be home watching tv and eating ice cream. She was very bored this was a boring party, She couldn't belive that she was here. Why wa she here? Oh yeah she had to talk to Corner about Dan. But since she already was with him.. She could just talk to him. When they went out, he was in school and she was in her junior year, it only lasted a few months but a she said it was her best few months of her life. He had been her best boyfriend ever, well in her eye's. Other people might say something else but meh right?
Jessica grinned as he drank his beer and kept looking at her. "Yes I know I'm he best damn thng your eye's well EVER see.. Next to my cupcake tattoo." Jessica laughed and looked down. She forgot EVERYTHING about her fear of highest. She looked back over and as she clut she was, she early fell down. But quickly grabbed a hold of Dan.
Maybe she shouldn't sit up there. In her ee's it was really stupid. Mostly since she nearly fell down. But she just laughed and jumped down. "Damn remind me never to sit up there again." She smile. She let go of Dan when she jumped down and instead leaned towards the balcony thingy.

Dan laughed, "You are just about the greatest thing I've ever seen." He confirmed, and he looked down to his cup, which was almost empty. "And Ephram's tattoo is pretty cool." He said to her, teasing about her tattoo. In truth, he did like her tattoo, all of them for that matter. As she started to slip off, Dan reached for her to not let her fall. It was a long way to fall acually, and he placed her back on her feet, stepping away again.
Being that close to her wasn't a good thing. He was glad they were still friends, but being that close made him want to hold her and never let go. Which would be a bad idea. "Don't sit up there." He reminded her, and he grinned, before he took the last drink of his beer.
Jessica Smith - June 4, 2007 02:06 AM (GMT)
Ephram's tattoo? haha Jessica's was way cooler mostly 'cause she had more then him. "Dude I' even thecloest to girls you'll ever get. But of course with your looks they'd be falling for you." She nodded. Jessica was nevr good at flirtn and she knew why. She hated it, if you like a boy. Tell him. Don't waste time on flirting. Very bad idea.
Jessic smiled when he reminded her. "Don't be a smart ass. Yu've never been good at that. Plus thats my thing." She ginned. When he looked down at his beer, Jessica laughed. She looked around abit, she move her head from side to side, bored, outta her mind. But please. What was she onna do? Like.. Throw the ber in his face? Plese she wasn't five, or 17 anymore..
Dan Hughes - June 4, 2007 05:34 AM (GMT)
"I bet you've got guys falling all over you." He flirted back, knowing that it really wasn't the scene for either of them. They normally went to Disneyland and took over the bumper cars, or cuddled while watching a movie, but they almost never flirted. What he really wondered is what they were doing. This was odd. "But I've always been a smart ass." He told her, and he reached up and messed with a lip ring.
But then he stopped messing with it, and he looked back to Jessica, "Jess, what are we doing?" He asked her, and he went back over to the balcony and he leaned over it, looking down at the sand directly below them. "With you and me I mean. We never flirt. Why are we flirting?" He rambled, and he looked over to Jess breifly, before looking back down. He alcohol started to kick in, and he was feeling the buzz going. Which was probably why he asked her something that had been on his mind for sometime.
Jessica Smith - June 5, 2007 08:19 PM (GMT)
Jessica grinned and shook her head. "Who? Corner? Blah, noooo. I'm rather just their quick fuck." She smiled. God she couldn't even flirt.. Well it didn't really bother her. He was better then her. She hated flirtin, it was so stupid till. It was very not cool. She had never flirted around Dan 'cause she didn't have too. Yes she had a crush on the dude, but he didn't flirt.
Jessica shrugged. She didn't have the answer for this one to be honest. She has no clue why they were suddenly flirting. Maybe 'cause they liked each other and didnt know how to say it? What could she say? She could lie and say no clue. But that wasn't her style. Her syle was more normal. "Dan I have no clue. We're um.. Flirting really badly. I guess." She shruged again. She wished she knew eveything but meh. That wasn't a good idea.
Dan Hughes - June 5, 2007 10:17 PM (GMT)
Quick fuck? That's something Dan hadn't wanted to hear about her. Yes, he heard all the rumors even though he wasn't in school anymore, but still; she was Jess. To him she wasn't Jess the whore, she was Jess the girl he loved. He loved her like his best friend and little sister, but did he really love her? Maybe. Maybe he just needed to get really drunk before he figures it out. Sounds like a plan.
But for some reason he didn't want to get drunk tonight. If anything decided to happen between them tonight, Dan wanted to be totally aware of it, for future refrence. "Yah but, we like, never fucking flirt." He told her, and he stared down at his empty cup. What he really wanted to do was make out with her, but with the news of her being a quick fuck; he didn't want to be just another one of those guys on her list.
Jessica Smith - June 5, 2007 10:34 PM (GMT)
Yup she was the school whore. Looks like she took over for Ashley. Haha. She liked being around Dan, cause he didn't throw himself at her. He just talked to her like a normal person, not like a goddamn slut. Which was why she loved him, like a best friend, and no more. She didn't want to face it yet.
They never had to flirt. That was the thing. They could go on like they were and be totally on so called alcohol. But she had to give it to them. They were never going to be flirts. Mostly well.. Yeah, Jessica grinned and looked down at the sand. "Cause again, we never had to flirt. Dude we had it all." She said and loked back up. She hated looking down, made her sick. Yup.
