Description: felix.

Shady and distant. Two words often to describe both the forest behind the school and the girl now walking into it. Alexandra Evans was not a normal girl by any means, but she also liked to throw out that cliched excuse of 'I'm just misunderstood,' not feeling that anyone truly understood her besides her sister. Unlike most people, she usually felt that she understood herself and she knew who she was at an early age. Most people never truly 'found themselves' but she had. Then again, the self that she'd found wasn't exactly the best but she knew that not everyone could be truly happy in life. Happiness was overrated and disappointing anyway. Once you got it, you'd like it too much, then take advantage of it, then be miserable again. She preferred to just always be miserable and avoid the disappointment and wishful thinking.

Any boyfriend the young girl had had, she'd cheated on. Then again, there weren't very many because, as it was obvious, she wasn't so great with commitment. It didn't matter who she was with, no matter how 'special' she thought they were to her. She couldn't help her temptations and had even gotten caught by her boyfriends in the act. Love was not something that Alex knew anything about and she was sure that it either would never happen for her or that that would just be another thing, like happiness, that she would purposefully disregard to stay true to her lowly self. It was going to be a long and meaningless life, but that was what she had chosen for herself. She was only fifteen, but she'd already made up her mind.

Avoiding protruding braches and muddy patches, Alex made her way through the forest with a sigh. Lunchtime wasn't exactly her thing when her sister wasn't there because she hadn't managed to make any friends at school that she would actually sit down with. Party with, sure, but sit down for a period of time and socialize, no thanks.

Felix was the type to hang out in this 'shady and distant' forest outside of the school. It wasn't that he was some gothic kid with a fascination with vampires, who would dream night after night that one day Dracula or maybe some character from Buffy would take him away, change him, and he could live forever. Infact, Felix wasn't really happy with living currently (though don't go thinking he's emo), so wanting to life forever? Screw that. Eternity was a long time, and the world was already a shit place to live with all the stuff that's going on like global warming and pollution, that if he had to watch it burn to a crisp, then he wouldn't be too happy. Though he would laugh at all the people on fire and screaming terribly, but only because he was a tad bit morbid like that. His freak fascinationn with serial killers probably had something to do with such thoughts.

There were many trees out here, but there was one that was 'his tree'. One that he went to every day if he could get away from people, and it was one that was almost smack dab in the middle of the forst. He was sitting on one of the more thicker branches, meaning one that was a little higher up but he wasn't afraid of heights. That fear was so miniscule, pathetic. There were much bigger things to be afraid of such as being buried alive, which he'd always wanted to try, or being stung by a thousand wasps at the same time. Heights, pfft. Most people blamed such a fear as that on a past life experience, he blamed it on how pathetic the human race was.

In his hands was Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh, and his blue gaze was staring directly down at the pages infront of him. The words were jumbled together in ones that were written out in the way that the Scottish proncounced, and though he wasn't from the country and had never been, he understood what was going on. It was a simple concept to grasp after a few pages were read. Just sound it out in your head, that's how he did it.
Flipping to another page, he stretched out on the branch and leant back against the thick trunk, where before he was leaning forward. His eyes moved quickly along the sentences, as he was an incredibly fast reader.

Alexandra Evans - May 31, 2007 08:16 PM (GMT)
Staring down at her feet as they shuffled through the crunching leaves, Alex stuck her hands into the back pockets of her ragged jeans, which were just the right size to slink down a little and show off the small boy briefs underwear that she was wearing. A small black spaghetti strap undershirt was all that adorned her upper body, showing off of a few inches of her bare stomach. Her usual style was that 'I spent a lot to look like I just rolled out of bed' kind of look. Except this outfit really didn't cost much so that was a bonus, I guess. Her scraggly hair fell over her bony shoulders as she walked and she let out a sigh.

Being away from the large groups of slobs in the lunchroom was such a relaxing thought, especially since she was in the forest, which she already loved anyway. It was dark and eerie, making it absolutely lovely. She, too, had a dark mind. Not in the same way exactly, but she was born pessimistic and untrusting. Her outlook on life did not even come close to that of many of her classmates or even most people she'd ever met. Even her sister felt very different about life. That was just one more thing that left the girl feeling alone for almost every second of her life.

Hearing a rustle in the tree, Alex was a little frightened at the sudden noise and she quickly turned her head up and shifted her gaze to search for the culprit, figuring it was probably just some stupid squirrel or something anyway. In that case, a rock would most likely be thrown just for her amusement. But it wasn't the case and when her eyes fell upon a dark haired boy sitting up in the tree with a book in his hand, Alex gave a questioning look and thought, wow, weird.

"Don't fall." She teased, still looking at him like he was a complete loon for sitting in a tree.

Felix Kennedy - May 31, 2007 08:26 PM (GMT)
Flip. Scan. Flip. Scan. That was the way the next few moments passed, how every day in his life passed. He had this small passion for reading, though that was always considered quite the good thing. He had the ability to read since three years old, where most kids can't even read 'a' until they're five. When other children were reading those starter books with simpilar words, he was already going into adult fiction. His mind just expanded faster than most children his age. Now, he could read anything he wanted and understand it quite easily. One of his favourite things to read was philosophy, as that was a bunch of complex predictions mixed onto one page and to most it would confuse, but to him he understood it easily. It was like little childrens book to him.

Though he was torn out of his novel as he heard a female voice, and he looked up from his book then down to the ground where there was a girl standing. He could tell by the expression on her face that she thought him to be crazy for sitting up in a tree reading. Such a thing was normal to Felix. He didn't see any problem with choosing such a bizarre place to get comfortable and read for awhile. It was better up here, to him, than it was in a libary which would be anyones first stop to read.

A smirk etched onto his lips in that moment, as her words had clicked something in his mind. he was always the type to brave things, and right now it would be whether this drop would kill him or keep him alive. Though he had a lot of experience in getting out of trees, as he always prefered to jump intstead of climb, he put a bookmark into his book, shoved it into his bag that he had up there with him, and then threw that straight down to the ground. He shifted around on the beach until he was sideways, his feet dangling off the edge and his hands holding him in his place.
"Oops," He said simply, and let go, or more like pushed off and fell the ten or so feet down to the ground. Though he landed fine on the ground, it did hurt his ankles a little but he was fine. Like said, he had lots of experience. Though he made sure to not come up quite yet, to stay crouched to the ground, until what he thought was a minute passed and he bounced up into a standing position. He merely smirked once again, not even speaking a word.

Alexandra Evans - May 31, 2007 08:52 PM (GMT)
Alex stopped herself and looked up at the boy as he reacted to her comment and she smirked, each second making her grin widen. As it turned out, this weird boy was even more off-the-wall than she'd first judged. First of all, she expected to either be ignored or spoken to from the distance that was between them. She really hadn't expected the boy to jump down from the tree. It seemed that he had been expecting someone to come just so he could do that which was even more odd. Hm, what else could she ask him to do using reverse psychology?

Watching him dangle from the tree, Alex gave him the questioning look again and kept it that way even after he dropped, seeing as he crouched down in front of her in complete silence. Hell, was this boy even breathing? After a few more seconds, he practically jumped up so that he was now standing, making him a few inches taller than herself, but not at all intimidating. If anything, he was intriguing, really, but her face didn't show any sign of interest. No, her expression showed that she just thought the kid was weird.

"Alright, now don't go and jump off a cliff." She teased with a smirk.

[ewww, short. D:]

Felix Kennedy - May 31, 2007 09:00 PM (GMT)
Felix hadn't done it because she had told him to, he had done it to scare her. Making people afraid of him and his actions was one of his hobbies, evident by the things he would do on a daily basis. He wasn't afraid to test fate, not at all, so whatever someone said to him though obviously joking, he'd do it just to make a point. He wasn't scared of anything. Fear was just a fickle thing. He was so much more grand and important than something so little as fear. He wasn't arrogant, only confident. And he had every right to be, as he was practically a prodigy without the stamp on his forehead and an award for his mother to place on the mantlepiece.

Crouching down to the ground, he plucked up his bag out of the bush beneath the tree, and he threw it over his shoulder. He would have prefered if he could have kept on reading, but whenever someone came up to him, he would always have to speak to them. It was just this, I suppose, social complex that he had. He didn't talk a lot unless provoked, or he didn't talk at all, but sometimes he did and right now would be one of those sometimes. And all because the girl had teased him about being careful to not fall from a tree. How strange his mind worked.

Hearing her next statement, Felix raised a brow. "Well, unfortunetely there aren't any cliffs around here or else I would jump off one," He said, rolling his eyes a little. Felix had jumped off many cliffs in his lifetime, and all due to people saying 'I wonder what it would be like to jump from here' or something along the lines of that, and then Felix would hop to his feet, walk back a little, and then with a running start jump off and into the ocean. He obviously survived every time or else he wouldn't be here today.

Alexandra Evans - May 31, 2007 11:46 PM (GMT)
Alex kept her eyes on the boy in front if her as he grabbed his back and slung it over his shoulder. This kid was like a cartoon character or something. She'd never met anyone who was like him and she wasn't sure if that was good or bad at that moment. Well, maybe it was good because she'd been getting a little tired of being alone at school all the time. She never wanted to be surrounded by a huge group but anywhere she'd go to get away was completely deserted. For her, the aggravation of large crowds were only controlled by excessive drinking which was the only way she survived at parties. Truthfully, she wasn't big on large groups of people, which many people wouldn't expect from the infamous party girl but that was the truth.

"Well, unfortunetely there aren't any cliffs around here or else I would jump off one,"

Raising one eyebrow, Alex made the 'you're crazy' face again to the boy. "You're weird." She told him. "What's your name?" She followed up. Yeah, she was obviously a weird girl too because after being blatantly honest about how odd he was, she asked him more about himself instead of just trying to get away. She crossed her thin arms across her stomach and looked at him, waiting to see how he'd reply.

[short again. gah. sorrrrry. D:]

Felix Kennedy - May 31, 2007 11:57 PM (GMT)
It was natural that Felix was thought to be like a cartoon character, because afterall he was named after one, but he was almost a hundred percent positive that his parents hadn't intended it that way. Felix was born to be different, though. Except his parents hadn't exactly intended on it, which was the funny part. They had a child in hopes that one day he would become some genius who would change the world. Genius, he may be, but he wasn't exactly willing to take on the world... quite yet. Besides, his idea of changing the world would be world dominance, where he'd be the big king and everyone would have to bow down to him. Now that was wishful thinking, but it would be all he'd go out there to strive for. He didn't want to be the next Bill Gates, he wanted to be the next Hitler. Of course, with the exceptions of killing a specific race. Actually, if he did, he'd probably kill all the white people for fucking with the ones who were different back during the second world war. Though it would mean killing himself aswell, but whatever. It would be amazing, regardless.

Felix caught the look the girl gave him, and it was cause for him to smirk even more fully, not bothering to hide the expression from the girl and clearly letting her know that she was amusing him... In a sense, of course. He knew that he was unique, different, and loved it. When she called him weird, Felix let out a bark of a laugh. "Thank you," He said to her with a smile, the same way someone would if one would tell them they were beautiful, or amazing, or so smart..
"Felix, like the cat," He said as she asked his name, and he then flashed her a wide Cheshire cat grin. "What's your name?" He asked her, arching a brow. Of course he returned the question.

Alexandra Evans - June 1, 2007 12:19 AM (GMT)
Oh, the smirk. It seemed that every person she'd met in Huntington could be defined or told apart by their unique smirks. There was the 'I know I'm sexy" smirk, the "you're amusing now go die" smirk, the "I think I'm cool so I smirk" smirk, etc. Alex's smirk was pretty much a mix of all of the above. It mostly depended on her mood and/or location. The boy standing in front of her, his was the genuine 'hah, you're amusing me' smirk, and she was pretty sure he was leaving out the 'now go die' listed above. Then again, she wasn't the best judge of character.

"Good answer." She told him as he thanked her. That was the same answer she'd always given and she gave him a little credit just for that. She raised her eyebrow once again as he introduced himself, first thinking that he was just pulling her leg, then realizing that he was being serious. Woah, the name sure matched the guy. He really was a cartoon character. "Alex..." The girl said, putting her hands on her hips. Most people had already heard of her and this was where she expected the hating to begin. She wasn't ashamed of who she was or anything that she did so she usually just took the criticism with an eyeroll and walked away. Then again, this guy didn't seem like anyone she'd met so she really didn't know how he'd react to the fact that she was known as the school whore or if he'd even recognize her name...

Felix Kennedy - June 1, 2007 12:31 AM (GMT)
Felix's name really did match his character. Though when he was a young child, he absolutely hated it. No, he more than hated it, he despised it. Who the hell names their child something like Felix? Well, apparently his parents but they weren't exactly the sharpest tools in the shed so that was basically an explanation all on it's own. Though as he grew up, he learned to love it, and also learned of how much it seemed to fit him. You watch those old cartoons of Felix the cat, and sometimes, Felix the person acts just like that cat. Though a little more insane, masochistic, and all that lovely stuff. He was a blantently insane version of the cat, a version they'd never dare to show on tv because it would scare the little kids. They wouldn't create a cartoon and have little kids be scarred for life as they were seeing the Exorcist for the first time. So, they made Felix a nice little kitty. Too bad when Felix 2was made into human form, he was a fucking bastard who was exacting revenge on the world withour really stating it. Quite beautiful, huh.

Alex. Alex. Alex. Why did that name sound familiar. Well, except that it was supposed to be for a boy. He thought about it, though not ovbisouly. 'Ew, did you see Alex at the party on Saturday night? What a fucking whore, I can't believe she actsl like that' 'Oh my god, that bitch Alex hooked up with my boyfriend. I'm going to kill her' 'Wow, did you see that stain on her skirt? What a whore'. Hahah!
Felix started laughing on cue, and this time it was almost manical. Though after a moment or so, he stopped and smirked over to the girl. "I know you. You're the chick who fucks anything with legs, and who all the girls at the school basically hate," His smirk then turned into a grin. Oh man, oh man.

Alexandra Evans - June 1, 2007 12:46 AM (GMT)
Alex has always liked her name; well, her nickname, at least. The name Alexandra was so unfitting to her that she dumped it as soon as she felt any free will at all. She always found it kind of funny that she hated the name Alexandra so much but she felt like Alex fit her perfectly. It was from one extreme to the other by just dropping five letters. The name Alex was much more informal and casual which definitely described her better so she never regretted having everyone call her by it. Unfortunately, all of her stupid teachers still called her Alexandra because that was the name written on the attendance sheets and even if she took the effort to correct them, they would just forget.

Just as she'd expected. Her reputation proceeded her. She hadn't really meant to be so well-known but since people weren't used to her promiscuous activity, her name was spread around like wildfire. People seemed to find it so much fun to talk about what 'crazy' thing she'd done at that last party and she'd pretty much gotten used to it. It was the price that she payed for being who she was and who she wanted to be. "I guess you could say that." Alex said, shrugging her shoulders. She was much different sober, but no one really knew the sober Alex.

Felix Kennedy - June 1, 2007 01:36 AM (GMT)
Felix never understood this new adolescent age of extreme sexuality. He himself had never done it, not once, infact, the farthest he had ever gone was making out and that was it. He never had any intentions of going further than that until he was old enough to know about what he was doing. Half the kids his age had sex so often that he was surprised the world wasn't run by a bunch of crabs. That would be rather interesting, to be honest, but fucking disgusting. Kids should really learn how to keep it in their pants, or just not pull it out to begin with. Sex was not something to fool around with, but according to adolescents, it was. Quite sad.

Alex's reaction wasn't as defensive as Felix had expected it to be, and it was cause for him to arch a brow in the direction of the girl. He then shook his head a little, shifted his weight around, and looked over to her with a curious expression. "Doesn't it bother you that people talk about you behind your back?" He asked her, just wondering, naturally. He was a very curious person, and personally if people were calling him a slut behind his back, then he would get pissed off. Except he sort of had a rather short temper, so that would explain a lot. That, and he was on his verge of becoming the next Hannibal Lector.

Alexandra Evans - June 1, 2007 01:53 AM (GMT)
Without alcohol, Alex was a rather subdued girl. She was pensive, overanalyzing, but didn't really care much about what people thought of her. Things were quite different when the girl was tipsy, however. That was when she craved attention, got belligerant, and jumped anyone who she found attractive. She was two different people but everyone only knew the one and figured that the reason she was so quiet at school was because she was deeply ashamed of her 'other life'. That wasn't true. She had never been great in social situations, especially in large groups so she often hid away but it wasn't at all because she was ashamed.

"Not really," Alex replied with another shrug of her shoulders. "People talk about everybody. I don't care what they say because I'm not ashamed of who I am." She told him. "You get used to it after a while, too, I guess," She added. She'd been hearing gossip about herself for years. Not just about her sex life because that had only been up and running about a year and a half but just her personality and the way she acted and things like that. People seemed to fear the unknown and since they'd never met anyone like her, they decided the easiest thing to do was talk about her a lot and stretch the truth. Most of them weren't too good at keeping their voices down either so she often overhead them but never did anything about it. She was rarely outspoken while sober unless someone got her really riled up.

Felix Kennedy - June 1, 2007 02:10 AM (GMT)
With or without alcohol, Felix was the same person. He was stoic, cold, barely said a damn thing unless it was towards something that was actually of interest to him, but otherwise he was basically a mute. He was the same exact way when drunk, except he tended to giggle a lot during that point. You could guarenttee that with a drink in his hand and a lot more in his systme, he would just sit in the corner and every now and then he would giggle. Though sometimes he would act completely insane, not that he already wasn't. He wasn't even moreso when intoxicated, he just acted the same. Though there were some things you'd only be able to get him to do when drunk, and that would include like... fucking an animal of some sort. Which he's never done when drunk, by the way, because none of his friends are that disgusting. Or if they are, they haven'tt made it known... Yet.

When Alex said she didn't care, Felix guessed he understood where she was coming from. He was almost entirely sure that people talked about him, and only really because he was extremely messed up in the head, something that was most likely caused by being dropped on the head as a child or something. The only point of his life he doesn't remember is being a baby, but that's normal. Babies memories aren't so defined yet. "Hm, I get it," He said, shrugging. Then a thought came to him, one that was related to all of this. "Have you ever heard anything about me?" He grinned, almost crazily. He'd love to know what people had said about him...

Alexandra Evans - June 1, 2007 02:27 AM (GMT)
Wow, so he went from laughing his ass of at the school whore to understanding what she meant. Then again, he probably still thought it was funny that he was the school whore but just understood that it didn't bother her. Either way, the boy was understanding her and hearing that was more comforting than it probably should be because she never really heard that from anyone. Even with the smallest things, hearing that someone understood her take on it was comforting to her. Even though she didn't just want to think like everyone else, she hated feeling like she was totally alone in the world so the occassional positive reinforcement kept her from hanging herself.

"See. Even the school slut makes sense sometimes." Alex joked, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms back across her stomach. Had she ever heard anything about Felix? Not that she could remember and she figured, with a name like that, it would stick in her mind if she did. "Not that I know of. Sorry to disappoint you." She told him with a smirk, teasing him becaause he'd seemed so excited to know. She wasn't exactly in the gossip circles and didn't spread rumors with the blood-sucking bitches so she didn't really hear too much of it.

Felix Kennedy - June 1, 2007 08:26 PM (GMT)
No one talked about him? WHat kind of jip was that! Felix was well aware that he was quite the interesting character, so there had to be one or two stories floating around but apparently there wasn't. Or so said Alex, but from what he could tell about the girl, she wasn't in the popular crowd which meant she wasn't around gossip all that often. It was kind of a little funny, how all the popular kids talked constantly about other kids, but the ones without such a look rarely did. Though there were some cases, such as Felix, that made that point entirely fiction. Felix loved to talk about other people. He was quite the gossip king on his own, and he even does frequently blabble to himself about something he had heard. Or he writes it on his blog on myspace. He was quite interesting like that.

"Oh well," He stated with a shrug. Really, he didn't care enough to really freak out about apprarently not being talked about. Besides, he could simply walk around the school or sit in the caf and eavesdrop and hope that one day he'd hear something about 'that weird junior, Felix' 'Oh, is that the one who once killed a fly with a thumbtack in the middle of math class? It was just buzzing around and when it lande don his desk, he stabbed the poor thing with a thumbtack that no one knew he even had!' "yeah, that kid' 'How fucked up is he?'. Hehe, oh people. "Even if they were talking about me, I don't think I'd care much," He smirked lightly. He'd just laugh about it, to be honest.

Alexandra Evans - June 2, 2007 11:17 PM (GMT)
Alex smirked a little bit at how disappointed Felix was, hearing that he wasn't mentioned in the gossip. Or she hadn't heard anything, at least. Unlike most of the other girls who partied with her every weekend, Alex was not the type to sit around with people often and chat about recent hookups and breakups and things like that. Truthfully, she didn't care. She didn't care about the people, so she didn't care to spend time talking about them. These people constantly tried to make her life even more miserable so why should she spend time actually thinking and talking about them. Why give them the attention they so desperately craved?

"Believe me, being talked about constantly isn't exactly as glamorous as you'd expect." She told him as she began to walk through the woods again. "Coming, kitty?" She asked him with a grin. Well, he had said that his name was Felix, the cat, hadn't he? That's what he got for saying such a thing. Alex put her thumbs into her back pockets and let her hands rest there as she slowly made her way through the forest. It was a pretty warm day so the forest was a great place to be. The shade was the best escape she could imagine without having to be confined by the school's halls.

Felix Kennedy - June 3, 2007 09:16 PM (GMT)
Felix shrugged. Personally, he'd love to be talked about but maybe that was because he was Felix Kennedy, who was really one in a million. He'd always dreamed of the Hollywood life, and only to be in the magazines such as US Weekly or Star. He wanted to be caught in a kiss with a friend then have relationship rumours started. He wanted to be photographed picking his nose. He wanted to be photographed doing everything in his regular day life. Though the sad part about this was that was most likely never going to happen. He had no traits that could make him famous. Well, there was one and that was his slightly sociopathtic tendencies but he didn't want to be famous for killing someone. Or did he...

Hearing what Alex said, he cocked a brow. Kitty? Now that was a new nickname. Well, not really. He once had this friend as a kid who called him kitty because she was a girl and obsessed with Felix the cat but she was like, dead or something. Or living somewhere else. Who knew. He shrugged to himself, figuring why not, because it wasn't like he was doing anything of importance at the moment. He sighed, shifting his bag on his shoulder and then following after Alex. His main thought was a coyote coming out and eating Alex right infront of him, and only because that would be really fucking spiffy...

Alexandra Evans - June 4, 2007 08:19 PM (GMT)
Alex turned her head to the side just enough to get a glance at Felix to confirm that he was actually following. His company proved pretty satisfactory which surprised her but she tried not to question it. There weren't too many people who grew on her this quickly but he had. He had this really odd way of expressing himself that she found almost intriguing so needless to say, she wanted more. Keeping her fingers in her back pockets, Alex shook her head softly to let her thin hair adjust itself in the breeze then she slowed down a little to wait for Felix to walk beside her.

"So, why were you over here instead of at lunch? Got some kind of social anxiety?" Alex asked simply. Her answer for that: yes, she really did. She wasn't good with large groups of people and usually wasn't even too great one-on-one with people. Social situations were better handled with large amounts of mind-altering substances which was another big reason she started using them so young and so often. With she was drunk or high, it helped her forget her anxieties about big groups of people. Truthfully, she had no idea what she didn't like about groups of people because she really didn't care too much what they thought of her. Maybe it was just that a lot of people's conversations annoyed her so she just would rather be alone to her own thoughts than listen to the crap they talked about.

Felix Kennedy - June 4, 2007 11:48 PM (GMT)
The truth was, Alex really had grown on Felix so far but he'd never actually admit that outloud because he has a reputation, you know. Alright, he does but it's not one that you're thinking of. Really, he doesn't give a damn what people think of him or who he hangs out with, but his reputation was that of a cold bastard who's eventually going to bomb the school. That was what everyone thought of him, and it rather amused him so he always made a point to live up to it. Mumbling about murder, wearing all black, smirking during History at the mention of Hitler. It all quite worked out fine. Though if he was seen hanging with the school whore, he doesn't know what people would think of him. Would they concieve him to be a whore aswell? Not only was he pyschotic, but he was also a whore? Oh jeez, lock up your children...

When she inquired of what he was doing in the forest instead of in the cafeteria, Felix shrugged and walked up so he was now going along beside Alex. "No," He said to whether he had a social anxiety or something. Truth be told, he just preferred to be away from people. It wasn't that they scared him or anything, because it was them who were afraid of him, but just that they were all sheep and he prefered to stay away. Yes, he had friends he could be with but here was better than with then. No offence, or anything. "I quite like it out here," He said, his pale blue gaze shifting around the surrounding area for a moment. "It's relaxing, peaceful, quite unlike the cafeteria..."

Alexandra Evans - June 5, 2007 12:25 AM (GMT)
Slowly pulling her hands out of her back pockets, Alex crossed her arms across her gaunt figure as looked over at Felix who had now caught up and was now was beside her. The fact that she was actually inviting him along to walk with her probably wouldn't seem like a big deal to a lot of people, but it was for her. She'd only been talking to the kid for a little while and he'd made enough of an impression that she actually wanted to continue talking to him. That was abnormal and she didn't let that fact escape her attention. There was something different about him and she wanted to figure out what the hell it was.

Alex nodded shortly, understanding exactly what he meant. That was a big reason why she was out there too so it made complete sense. "Yeah, food fights and lots of people aren't really my thing." She told him, shrugging her shoulders. She had a feeling that he'd be a bit surprised at the fact that she hated large groups of people seeing as she had the reputation to be the party girl. Other people were easier to handle when she could hardly even see straight. Plus, she usually got drunk pretty quickly, found her victim, and then seduced him, or even her, into the closest available room so she wasn't out and around people for very long either way.

It took a lot for Felix to like you, it really did. He was very specific with the people who he placed himself with, and would not be friends with just anyone. You had to have a certain characteristic, but if you asked him what that was then not an answer would be given. Felix got vibes from people, which might sound a little odd but it is the complete truth. He knew whether someone was good, bad, or normal. Though such labels didn't matter, as he didn't personally didn't fit under any of them. He had friends who were goth, friends who were preppy, friends who were 'emo', friends who were skinheads. There was just one quality in all of them that they shared, and that was that Felix liked them. It was worth a lot, if you thought about it. Felix hated people, but had friends and that was only because they were worthy.
Now Alex, she deemed worthy to him which was why he was still hanging around her. She seemed fine. The school may hate her, but he saw nothing wrong with her. She could be qualified as his one and only slut friend, which sounded fine to him...

"mm, Nor are they mine," He said in response to Alex's statement. Pathetic how teenagers still have food fights, isn't it? Felix only had one food fight in his life, and he was two years old and his mother tried feeding him liver. Talk about ew. Well, there was this other time when a friend tried to get him to eat sushi and he chucked it at their head but that didn't count as a 'food fight'... "Our generation are quite immature, don't you agree?" He said, looking out of the corner of his eye to Alex.

Alexandra Evans - June 5, 2007 09:58 PM (GMT)
Alex was starting to feel a little restless for some off reason and when she felt restless, she got squirmy so she moved her hands again, stuffing them back into her back pockets once again. Maybe it was the fact that she hadn't expected to be socializing so she was just getting a little anxious and fidgety now. She hated that she was that way but it was just something she'd learned to live with and when someone asked about it, she either pretended nothing was wrong or just told them she was uncomfortable or something.

"Completely," Alex replied. She didn't associate with many of them but she'd sure seen her share of immature activity so she agreed with him on that one. A lot of people thought that the irresponsible way she acted was immature too but she didn't consider it that. It was her life and she didn't consider herself immature so whoever did could go screw themselves. They could all be as judgemental and judgemental as they wanted because Alex sure wouldn't be the one trying to change them. She didn't really need friends but she still managed to find the few decent people who she could stand to be around and maybe even have a good time with. Lately, the only person she could have fun with was her sister but Felix was growing on her a little. So maybe he had a chance. Either that or she'd do something stupid and screw up whatever they had going for them.
