your whispers echo off the walls - acquaintances
but I will shy away from the specifics - friends with benefits

I would still be searching - close friends & you're the only thing I want - crush [on him] &
if anyone could make me a better person you could - future relationship

i SAY:
"I like girls. Not just romantically, either. I love any girl whether she's my four year old cousin or my eighty-five year old great grandmother. So, needless to say, I have a lot of girls that I'm friends with. The problem with that? I am also an uncontrollable flirt. Therefore, girls that start out as simply my friends end up as more. It's just the way things have always happened. I met Issa in the park at a football game that always goes on there on Saturdays. I was a bit amazed to see a girl like her there, even though I've been around my sister for some time who is just like her. Anyway, the fact of the matter is, she's not only a good football player, but she's an absolute sweetheart. She's the kind of girl I always love meeting: sweet, pretty, and very much a girl, but not afraid to act like one of the guys on occasion. We saw each other again the next Saturday and, after that, began talking a lot. She is a great girl and a lot of fun, not to mention that she's gorgeous. Despite that, I still haven't really done more than flirt with her. Maybe it's because she's older than me by a couple of years. Come to think of it, that's probably why, but maybe I'll get over that eventually. As a matter of fact, I hope I do."
you SAY:
"Ty. Oh boy, where do I even start with this boy? I'll just start by saying that our relationship is...complicated. Ever since I first met him, I've felt more for him than just friendship and I flirt with him like crazy but he's younger than me and I don't know how he feels so I haven't really done too much about it. We first met at the park for this Saturday afternoon football game that always goes on. He was on my team and we just had a great time. Afterwards, we just started talking and then agreed to both come the following Saturday. After meeting up again at the football game again, we exchanged phone numbers then started hanging out more often. He is like the exact type of guy that I really like. He's athletic and confident but not a jerk like a lot of those other jocks. He's just a really cool guy and a good friend. I really hope something more happens someday but even if it doesn't...he's still great to have around."

Andrea Falcone - Eighteen.Senior

wade through the depths and bring me back - partner in crime &
you're the only thing I want - crush mutual

i SAY:
"I've known Andrea for well...a long time. We met in English class our freshman year because of a comment I made about football. We spent the rest of the period talking about our favorite teams while our teacher, who had to be older than God, droned on about participles and absolutes completely oblivious to the two people in the back actually enjoying themselves. I've always seen Andrea as gorgeous, but I've never really entertained the prospect of dating her. I flirt a lot, but I know a relationship like that wouldn't work. First, because we're way too much alike and second because it'd be strange. After being friends for almost four years acting any differently around Andrea than I do now just wouldn't feel right. But, hey, that's alright with me."
you SAY:
"Dude, we've been together forever. Me and Ty are a lot alike, kind of freaks me out at times. We first came together because of our love for football. I remember we spent an entire period of freshman English talking about our favorite teams. He's my partner in crime, for sure. And of course, he's charming and handsome and I can't help but crush on him. But we're best friends and dating each other would be kinda weird. Wouldn't it?"

[not sure if you wanted the history in 1st person like that or not but if not, I can change it. Also, if that history's not set in stone so edit, kill, do whatever you want with it. Just thought it'd be a cute idea. =)]

some evidence, if you please: I met Tyler outside of the school on the football field. He mistaken me for a guy just because I was playing football with a few friends of mine. He was a little shocked to see that I was a girl. It took awhile for him to notice which to me was kinda cute but anyways. We played some football and an instant friendship seemed to click. Tyler makes a good buddy to watch football with, he doesn't seem to mind my sudden outbursts during the game. I just seem to get so into the game. hehe. Plus I think I like him a little bit, but I'm not too sure yet. We'll just have to see.
