The Board of ContentFilm plc (AIM: CFL), a pre-eminent owner of media rights supported by strong film, TV, DVD and digital sales divisions, is pleased to update shareholders on sales developments in its television division, Fireworks International. In relation to the division's main new series, comprising 70 hours of quality series product, Fireworks has concluded sales last week such that : * both seasons of 'The Border' (26 x 1 hours) and 'Heartland' (31 x 1 hours have sold out in the whole of Continental Europe and in various other international territories * the Company's other main new title 'Jpod' (13 x 1 hours) has been sold in various European territories and in other international territories Taken together this is record sales activity for the division and will have a significant effect on our revenues and gross margins. We expect some of the revenue and distribution fees to be recognised in FY08 with the balance in FY09. The Company expects this sales impetus to continue across its portfolio of drama series as it heads into MIPTV, a large television market in Cannes, beginning 7 April. Since the Company purchased the Fireworks business and library in July 2005, the division has acquired over 160 hours of quality new series product, alongside the acquisition of other non-series television product. This steady stream of new product is accelerating in terms of the amount of delivered episodes per year and the pipeline for FY09 is already well set for another year of growth in terms of delivered episodes and revenue from new series. These new business activities run alongside, and are complementary to, the division's exploitation of its television library encompassing over 2,000 hours of wholly owned product (including long running series such as 'Andromeda', ' Mutant X' and 'Relic Hunter') and other library product sold by the division for which it earns other distribution fees. Commenting on the record new series sales activity, John Schmidt, CEO, said: 'When we acquired Fireworks in July 2005, the challenge was to build on the existing acquisitions and sales infrastructure that had achieved revenues of over $350 million before our acquisition. Since our acquisition, we have worked hard to put that financial and operational infrastructure in place, such that Fireworks can acquire and sell increasing amounts of new product. We have been delighted at our team's growing ability to acquire new product from independent producers based on its long and successful history of working with such producers. Of course, acquiring product is one thing, selling it profitably is another. We are very pleased to report these record sales of our new series across Continental Europe and in other international territories. This is especially pleasing following on from last year's successes with 'Blood Ties' and 'Whistler." 'We expect to continue the momentum of our Fireworks acquisition and sales team with further expansion activities throughout FY09.'

Thanks for the articles First. I wonder what was so horrible for Howard Chaykin but if it was this way, I can imagine that he does not want to work again on the show. :(

A movie as final end would be nice though. Too many lose ends on this story.
