Neon TextHello and welcome @ XiaO's neon text tutorial, here's what we're going to make:

1) Open a new file, size 600 x 400 pixels with a white background.
2) Press D and go to Filter > Render > clouds
3) Press Ctrl + U and use following settings:
Hue: 0
Saturation: 50
Lightness: -50
4) Go to Filter > Texture > Texturizer and use following settings:

5) Enter a large text in a nice font like I did:

6) With the text layer selected, go to Layer > Rasterize > Layer
7) Press Shift + Ctrl + N (or Layer > New > Layer) to create a new layer, call it Neon.
8) With the layer you just made selected, hold down your Ctrl-key and click on the text layer.
Now you should have the text selected

9) Click your Rectangular Marquee Tool and right-click on the text, click Stroke and use following settings:

10) Press Ctrl+D to Deselect your text.
11) Right click your text-layer (in my case it's called 'NiteClub') and choose Delete Layer.
Now you should have something like this:

12) Right-click your Neon-layer and choose Blending Options. Use following settings:


Congratulations, you are finished!
