Title: Use of Red Text by Moderators or Admin
Description: A new change for the board. Please read

To all members,

After some discussions, we've decided to implement a new system if a moderator or Admin posts in a thread.

To avoid any confusion, A moderator or Admin will post using RED TEXT to show they are doing so in their board capacity as a moderator.

At all other times, they will be posting simply as a board member.

To also allow this to work we are asking all board members don't use red text in their posts from now on please.

This measure has been taken to be a simple but effective way for the board membership to know when someone has moderated a post - for whatever reason.

We reiterate that all our Moderators are allowed to be involved in debate and discussions as would any other board member, and again, this will ensure there is no confusion about whether a post is made in the capacity of a moderator, or the thoughts held of the person posting.

For an example of this - you can check out the thread about the Boston Globe article found:

Which has been moderated using the red text.

Many thanks.
