I've half a mind to emigrate!! The "great" British public voted for Best British Single - Patience by Take That won over Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. Chasing Cars was absolutely the best single of last year! I voted for it twice but obviously didn't make that much difference. I should have got loads of my mates to vote too!!
Snow Patrol didn't win a single award, and neither did the Scissor Sisters!

I never watch the Brits anymore, its crap.
I wanted Snow Patrol to win and they didnt get anything.... see, load of crap as usual. :lol1

I agree, MJN. It has gone totally crap! Most of the results were a major disappointment. I only agreed with a few of the results. The Fratellis and Muse definitely deserved their awards.

I watched a lil of the awards and it seemed just as useless to watch as the grammies, in terms of commercialism winning over talent. I couldn't resist some of the perfomances, though.

I've just been looking at last years British Academy Television Awards winners, and I can't believe Holby, Spooks and Bodies(my favourite shows) did not get any awards.Grrrrr

I'm in the US, and I don't even know who Take That is, but all these music show are for crap now, here in the states as well.... a lot of bad pop with big funding if you ask me..... not the place for the real musicians....
