Title: I promise that I'm not trying to be provocative...

...and not seeking attention, by asking this question...

Is it more or less in fashion for a woman to shave her private area in the U.K. than it is in the united States?

While pornography is certainly not everyone's cup of tea, it does eventually end up influencing some styles/fashions of behaviour in even the lives of the most sexually moral and disciplined people on the planet.

In U.S. porn, it is common for women to be completely hairless below the waist, and extremely uncommon for a woman to have an area which has not had any shaving or waxing at all. (Like a simple trim wouldn't suffice...sheesh.) Some years after this became the norm in porn, it started becoming more popular for normal women to shave. Don't get me wrong, it is not the norm for mainstream U.S. women to do a complete shave, but neither is it rare (anymore). And a woman here who doesn't do a partial shave or a partial wax is usually in a marriage of more than 4 years, elderly, handicapped, extremely conservative muslim, or has Alopecia Universalis.

Anyways, what I'm trying to find out is if anyone here knows if shaving that particular area is more or less popular a practice in the U.K. than in the states.

Anybody?
