I didn't know where to post this so hopefully the moderators will put this where it would be most suitable.


My gf and I are doing the art treck in July: Documenta, Venice, Munster Sculpture Park, etc....

We want to make excursions into nature and smaller towns, countryside, and even beaches. We'd like to enjoy ourselves in route, as well as throw a week in somewhere spectacular, inexpensive (it's all relative, I know), and unique.


If anyone has suggestions we'd love to hear your recommendations!!!!!
