I've only been into the show for about a month and I have managed to watch all 8 series. I started watching because I heard about some kind of relationship between two women and I was bored. Then I FREAKIN FELL IN LOVE (with Helen/Simone). I started by watching only all the Helen/Nikki scenes in order and that confused me a bit but I had to see more of them. Then I finally went and watched all 3 series in order. I loooooooooove the show to pieces and I am sooo glad I found others interested in the show as much as I am. Hell, I am in Louisiana and I am probably the only one in the entire state that likes it!

Oh and I think my second favorites are Yvonne and Pat. I love those two. Yvonne was the only thing that kept me going after season 3. Anyway, I could go on and on ...

Absolutely! I am sooo glad too. I was afraid I wouldn't find anyone else and I would just sit here quoting stuff to myself like a crazy person.

i know exactly that feeling! i got it about 4 years ago when i discovered BG & worried i wouldn't find anyone to share my obsession with. how wrong i was.

It just upsets me that I got into it so late. =( Oh well. I came to my senses eventually! You all don't know it yet, but you are all my new best friends! You don't know how crazy my family and friends think I am. And all the slang I have picked up from the show has reeeeally got everyone paying attention. haha!

(and I don't mind being down the block. so, if i am bad enough you think i could get an angry helen to get in my face? :wub: )

I kno the slang and stuff i use it with my friends sometimes and then they ask me wat did i say i aid u dont need to know.. and half of the time it slips out like ..when i talk normally....but yeha maybe an angry helen in ur face all the time.. wait that actually a good thing to wish for... :lol1

So I guess I will just sit down here and be happy for now. :slurp

Oh! I forgot to mention I make music videos! I have only made them for Xena and X-Files so far, but now I can make Nikki and Helen ones. :D I've already written two pages of song ideas. Obsessed much? ;)

I'm a newbie from Houston and I bet you're not the only one in Louisiana that's a "Bad Girls" addict. I have finally convinced some friends in this area to check it out and they are now hooked. Best show ever!!! I started watching series 1 on BBC America and since they quit showing it ended up like so many others buying a region free dvd player and buying Series 1 thru 4 from amazon.co.uk. Before the dvd's got to me I of course watched all of the Nikki/Helen love story on YouTube and then proceeded to go blind watching series 1 thru 8 on line. I took a weeks vacation just to watch the whole thing. I have never been this obsessed with a show and I am no young Lesbo. I still can't believe that the rest of the world has known about this great show for a long time and the U.S. is just now getting it.

hey! Houston isn't that far from me. :) That does give me some hope! Oh I loved devouring every season in a couple weeks time. It was all I thought about and people still think I am crazy. I think it's cool how we both started watching it the same way. Watching all of Nikki/Helen then catching back up the proper way. I wish I had friend that were into it as well. It kinda sucks keeping it ALL inside, ya know?

I've decided that the name "Bad Girls" stops some women from even checking it out. I think they think that it's some show like Girls Gone Wild. I've e-mailed YouTube videos and anything else I could think of to friends. Also, there really hasn't been any publicity for it here. I guess we are just lucky to have stumbled across it. As far as I'm concerned it's just one of if not the best show I've ever run across. Great writing, great actresses and Simone and Mandana were magical together. Did not hurt one bit that they were gorgeous. I like thinking some of us have really good taste. LOL. Since we live so close we will just have to PM each other to talk more often.

I'm so far gone about this that my family/friends/dog have written me off. I start quoting things and using slang and their eyes glaze over... I see them shoot each other looks that say, "There she goes again..." or "Maybe it's a phase..." or "Ignore her. She'll go away..." They give those pitying smiles and pat me on the head. "The first step to recovery is admitting there's a problem..."

I quit smoking three years ago. (I hadn't smoked very long.) This damn show makes me crave one! I met a girl in rl named Nikki and melted. We've been out twice. It looks promising. I keep reminding myself that her name has nothing to do with her greatness...lol.
