The new Robert Plant / Alison Krauss collaboration is exquisite. I mean, just jaw-dropping. It doesn't matter if you think Plant can't sing (you're wrong) & hated Led Zeppelin (ok, I won't respect you but we needn't discuss it); it doesn't matter if the kind of music Krauss sings is something you're usually closed off to (as am I). This is really just gorgeous. Even better, it's exciting: it's classic-sounding & new, all at once. Lovely stuff.
