Okay, we're putting this up because of some changes on some of our other boards, and we thought it would be nice to ask the members here what you thought.

The idea is for an area that only logged in members could see that would allow just a little more privacy to post some items. One example would be perhaps some more personal photos.

I will stress, this wouldn't affect any other area of the board as it stands now - nor would it mean Membership by Approval.

It would just mean guests would not be able to read the posts made in one section (yet to be made). It would be a miscellaneous area..... just allowing that little more privacy.

If you have any comments or questions, by all means post them here as well. :)

We'll take the majority decision on this one - and it will be open to vote until sometime into January (most likely around Mid Jan).

I honestly have no opinion, but am sort of curious as to why no one has responded (it's been 3 weeks), that seems unusual. I thought maybe if I asked... someone would respond to why there are no responses?! :D

That is: it's either because people feel the board already provides enough privacy, or because they don't want the feature but are being polite. But maybe I'm not thinking of other reasons? Am assuming here if someone felt strongly about it--they would have said Yes.

Have now decided to close this. The results were as follows:

Yes [ 15 ] [53.57%]
No [ 8 ] [28.57%]
Maybe [ 5 ] [17.86%]

We're now going to take a little time to work out the best way to incorporate this area and let you know once we've decided on its name, location etc.
