As a Canadian, I feel that I have the best of both worlds watching British & US TV, but I've also noticed that alot of British Actors/Actresses share the same last name as the American Counterparts which makes me wonder if they could ever "possibly" be related.

For example: Jane Danson & Ted Danson, Patrick Duffy & Keith Duffy, Siobhan McCarthy & Kevin McCarthy, Violet Carson & Johnny Carson, also here's a good one

Ian Reddington who plays Vernon on Coronation St may have had some relatives who came to America and had their name changed simply to Redding, and wouldn't it be something if it were discovered that he was related to Otis Redding.
