Ok, so having gotten myself hooked on Bad Girls and now thoroughly hooked on Simone and Mandana I was hoping someone here could tell me which series/seasons of Wire In the Blood, Monarch of the Glen and Unsuitable Job for a Woman that Simone is in and if there are any other series that Mandana has been or is in that are available on DVD?

If you check out the back pages of this forum--Simone & Mandana General Discussion--starting on about page 2 there are individual threads for just about everything Simone & Mandana have been in. Scan through the thread titles: when you see something like "Powers [MJ" that's a thread about that show. :) Most of the information you're looking for should be found by reading through those threads for the shows you're interested in!

Also you might want to look at this thread under the "links" forum--molsongrrrl has been hugely generous with her bandwidth & listed copies of a bunch of shows/eps with MJ or SL at her own FTP address:

i'm sorry there isn't any mandana content available ... but other than "Bad Girls" - the stuff she's done is a bit harder to find ... i'm always on the lookout though and so if i'm successful in finding her stuff ... i will upload it too!

edited to add: well i just stumbled on an ep of born and bred with MJ - so will get that available asap.

There are a number of "Powers" episodes as well as the Afternoon Special: Coming Up For Air available on YouTube, if you're looking for more MJ.

Uhhhm... let's see... there once was a song that went kinda like:
"more, more, more how do ya like it" My response to that would be I'll take anything I can find on Mandana and/or Simone. :)

I watched "Wire in the Blood" last night. My partner said it kind of reminded her of a British version of "Law and Order SVU". Just what we need in our house... another tv addiction :) heheheh Her faves are Olivia Benson and Jordan Cavanaugh and mine are Nikki Wade and Helen Stewart/Alex Fielding! hahaa Oh yeah... my partner also said that Mandana reminds her of a cross between Mariska and Jill! (I told her that the first time I caught Bad Girls!)

I was wondering about the ref to the P.D. James spin-off which starred Helen Baxendale ("The Investigator," "Friends") and the great Annette Crosbie... I'm not aware of SL ever having been in that series. Where did you hear/see that she was?

Nope, it doesn't look like it--Jack Ellis was in the ep 'Playing God', but that's all I could find....

Can someone please explain to me why some of the series that have picked up one of the two actresses hasn't added the other. Their chemistry is unbelievable, and I don't think it is just Helen and Nikki. They seem to have or had a great friendship which showed in the acting. I would think that even wire in the blood would at least add Mandana as a guest just to see what happens. With their following, you would think someone would try it. I am not talking about as a couple, just friend, co-workers...something. I just keep scratching my head on this one. Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me?
