Hi all,
I dont really care what Nikki wears, I think she looks fine in anything.
As long as Ican see those eyes, those wonderful expressive hands, that beautiful face I just dont mind. She is certainly a stunning looking woman.
But if I had to choose id have to say white sets her dark looks of wonderfully.
As for her of screen casual gear, what can I say.swoon.

Well, I like Nikki in just about anything except the wig. But I like how her hair looks when she takes the wig off. There's something incredibly sexy about that look. I also go along with the white thing, especially the white shirt over the white tee in the library. Very nice. But I also like her in gray ~ the gray v-neck sweater, the gray v-neck tee...especially the gray tee with the black tee under it. Love that look. Can't remember if she wears that combo in series 2 or 3 ~ her hair's also longer in the scene, which I also really, really like (contrary to popular opinion, evidently). There's the merest glimpse of that look in OWH's 8th World Wonder vid. Check it out! Oh, and I like the biege combo as well....and the blue shirt... Basic

To be completely shallow: I am now up to S3 again while rewatching, and am consistently struck by how much better MJ looks with less makeup.

They were so adorable, I love watching them switch between their characters and themselves. I just watched it last night again. I usually concentrate on Simone, but I was watching Mandana mostly last night, and realized how striking she is.

I've always thought this was very intentional. They frequently used Nikki to show us the degredation and disempowerment of the prisoners, and the naked scenes show us that quite vividly. It also gives us some context for why she is so aggressive and hostile, particularly in the early episodes. The Garden Assistant

Whereas the other scene where she is quietly dressing in her cell, has softer, more sympathetic lighting~ part of the reason why Mandana looks so tanned...is was joked about on the message boards at the time about the fact that Nikki had a nice all over tan instead of the usual prison pallor...lol G3 landing

Ya know, I've never really been all that crazy about the color red at all. The all of the sudden, there she was on the stairs talking to "Bodybag" and *WHAM* it hit from out of the blue (or red), whos is that?? I've loved the color even since. Especially the lips to match. Am I obsessing again? I don't know, there is just something about that particular shirt that gets me blood moving.

I don't dispute that...BUT...from Nikki's shoes she didn't know what was going to happen in the future. Helen didn't even know...all she knew was she was leaving and that was that. Even if she had thought she was going to come back to the prison (which she did not know) why just leave Nikki like that? I couldn't have done that to anyone. It's just not right. I agree with everything that you have said EXCEPT that "Nikki could've been more understanding" ...I'm sorry but whatever...I would have been pissed to say the least. Nikki tried so hard to get Helen to realize her true feelings and then when she finally does all she can say is "$#!% happens" and then turn and walk out! Bad move! I don't blame Nikki one bit! As I said I would have been pissed right to the bone on that one. I think the fact that Nikki never mentioned that little stunt after that was her way of understanding. Granted it was after the fact but like said nobody knew Helen was going to come back. If Nikki had known it would've definately softened the blow I think. ok i do agree with u i woodnt & couldnt do that 2 anybody & i actually dont no who could, but i meant understandin as n i knew nikki tried 2 get helen 2 realize her feelings, but u knew how scared helen was about it, i dont think nikki helped by keep pushin her like she did, helen had 2 work it out on her own & not push her so hard. The bit of bad girls i didnt understand was in s2 e2 nikki told karen she wanted 2 see the gov n when helen walked in she told her 2 p**s off, what was the point of askin 2 see her The Number one

To tell her to piss-off of course...Think about it....afterall she had been through after all the times she outted Fenner, Helen STILL took his side even though she herself thought he was a "complete bastard". So Nikki is back down on the block due to no fault of her own, tries to explain it to Helen and what happens? She gets threatened by Helen to take her books away when Helen knows that besides her that is the only thing Nikki has to hold on to while she is on the inside (inside unjustifiably). Let's not forget she was a miscarriage of justice to begin with and now it's happening again. Let me ask you this, Why wasn't Helen understanding that this was a situation that would make anyone upset? Tell me why? You cannot expect Nikki to be "god-like" at times when she has been basically pissed on yet again by someone she cares about. I would've bought Helen an airplane ticket at that point just to tell her to "piss-off" after all that! In love with a prisoner

its alot easier 2 push & hide away from things that scare u instead of facin them, i dont think she was standin up 4 fenner on this occassion because if u remember Dominic did helen that she had hit him, so helen actually had no choice this time. Nikki was invokin feelings & thoughts that helen never really new, so instead of facin them she hide i feel up 2 the point b4 she goes n2 the cell 2 tell nikki she had left, she wood throw everything she could at nikki n hope that she wood back off, that way she wood have 2 do anything, but in the end i dont agree with the way she done it, but she had 2 say sorry 2 nikki 4 what she had done by shippin her out, i think n the end she had nothin left 2 hide behind, no sean, no rules that she couldnt break so in the end she finally gave n The Number one

most definately in some ways they r scared about the same things i understand nikki's reaction when she asks helen bout what she does outside because of what trisha done 2 her helen actually put nikki 1st n a lot of things i think she was actually waitin 4 it 2 happen with helen, & the fear over rid her normal rational thinkin, if her parents who is suppose 2 give u unconditional love & trisha a partner of 9yrs can do what makes helen any different The Number one

I think a lot of people lose sight of some very important (emotionally) facts with this whole story.
1. Helen is not wrongfully imprisoned. (this would make you a little bit cranky)
2. Helen was not screwed over by the person who she went to prison for protecting. (again, this would make me you cranky)
3. Helen is not dealing with being in love with someone who, at first, will not even acknowlege the fact. (again with the cranky)
4. Helen is in a position of power and uses this to push Nikki away and threaten her. (again...cranky)
5. When Helen does come to this realization....she leaves. (now this would make me REALLY cranky)
Yet everybody keeps saying how Nikki should be soooooo understanding. I don't buy it at all. I think under the circumstances she is being very understanding. I'm sorry, but I know if I were in Nikki's shoes, I would act the exact same way. The way Helen handles some situations is more than wrong, it's downright rude! Unbelievably rude sometimes. I couldn't handle it the way Nikki does. I would have given up a long time ago just to try to save some part of my heart from being mutilated. Happy ending or not. In love with a prisoner

I don't dispute that...BUT...from Nikki's shoes she didn't know what was going to happen in the future. Helen didn't even know...all she knew was she was leaving and that was that. Even if she had thought she was going to come back to the prison (which she did not know) why just leave Nikki like that? I couldn't have done that to anyone. It's just not right. ok i do agree with u i woodnt & couldnt do that 2 anybody & i actually dont no who could, but i meant understandin as n i knew nikki tried 2 get helen 2 realize her feelings, but u knew how scared helen was about it, i dont think nikki helped by keep pushin her like she did, helen had 2 work it out on her own & not push her so hard. The bit of bad girls i didnt understand was in s2 e2 nikki told karen she wanted 2 see the gov n when helen walked in she told her 2 p**s off, what was the point of askin 2 see her The Number one

To tell her to piss-off of course...Think about it....afterall she had been through after all the times she outted Fenner, Helen STILL took his side even though she herself thought he was a "complete bastard". So Nikki is back down on the block due to no fault of her own, tries to explain it to Helen and what happens? She gets threatened by Helen to take her books away when Helen knows that besides her that is the only thing Nikki has to hold on to while she is on the inside (inside unjustifiably). Let's not forget she was a miscarriage of justice to begin with and now it's happening again. Let me ask you this, Why wasn't Helen understanding that this was a situation that would make anyone upset? Tell me why? You cannot expect Nikki to be "god-like" at times when she has been basically pissed on yet again by someone she cares about. I would've bought Helen an airplane ticket at that point just to tell her to "piss-off" after all that! In love with a prisoner

its alot easier 2 push & hide away from things that scare u instead of facin them, i dont think she was standin up 4 fenner on this occassion because if u remember Dominic did helen that she had hit him, so helen actually had no choice this time. Nikki was invokin feelings & thoughts that helen never really new, so instead of facin them she hide i feel up 2 the point b4 she goes n2 the cell 2 tell nikki she had left, she wood throw everything she could at nikki n hope that she wood back off, that way she wood have 2 do anything, but in the end i dont agree with the way she done it, but she had 2 say sorry 2 nikki 4 what she had done by shippin her out, i think n the end she had nothin left 2 hide behind, no sean, no rules that she couldnt break so in the end she finally gave n The Number one

most definately in some ways they r scared about the same things i understand nikki's reaction when she asks helen bout what she does outside because of what trisha done 2 her helen actually put nikki 1st n a lot of things i think she was actually waitin 4 it 2 happen with helen, & the fear over rid her normal rational thinkin, if her parents who is suppose 2 give u unconditional love & trisha a partner of 9yrs can do what makes helen any different The Number one

I think a lot of people lose sight of some very important (emotionally) facts with this whole story.
1. Helen is not wrongfully imprisoned. (this would make you a little bit cranky)
2. Helen was not screwed over by the person who she went to prison for protecting. (again, this would make me you cranky)
3. Helen is not dealing with being in love with someone who, at first, will not even acknowlege the fact. (again with the cranky)
4. Helen is in a position of power and uses this to push Nikki away and threaten her. (again...cranky)
5. When Helen does come to this realization....she leaves. (now this would make me REALLY cranky)
Yet everybody keeps saying how Nikki should be soooooo understanding. I don't buy it at all. I think under the circumstances she is being very understanding. I'm sorry, but I know if I were in Nikki's shoes, I would act the exact same way. The way Helen handles some situations is more than wrong, it's downright rude! Unbelievably rude sometimes. I couldn't handle it the way Nikki does. I would have given up a long time ago just to try to save some part of my heart from being mutilated. Happy ending or not. In love with a prisoner

u really do like nikki dont u i no what u r sayin honestly, i jus felt that nikki shouldnt of pushed where helen's sexuality was concerned, until nikki helen lived one way had friendships & nothin more than that i do agree when someone told me its not who u love its what u love mean u love the person & not the gender, but it also has a lot 2 do with the way helen got brought. She was actin mayb the way she always did, but the situation made it alot more intense, dont get me wrong i wood hate 2 b treated the way helen did 2 nikki, but i dont think they helped each other at all they definately rubbed each other up the wrong way on many occassions The Number one
