I didn't know where to put this because I couldn't find the old SVU thread, but I came across a snippet from a new TV Guide magazine that had a new pic of Mariska and her family. Enjoy!

The SVU star opens up about her new son, August

Mariska Hargitay, Law & Order: SVU

At 10 pounds, 9 ounces and 22 inches, August Miklos Friedrich Hermann (more on that name later) is already the biggest star of Hollywood's latest baby boom. The son of Emmy-nominated Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay and frequent costar Peter Hermann (who also appears on the new Lifetime series Angela's Eyes) arrived on June 28.
In true celebrity fashion, he was late.

"Being a first-time mom, I got overattached to my due date, which was June 21," admits Mariska, 42, cradling her sleepy 18-day-old on a Saturday afternoon. "He was measuring so big, I assumed he was coming early."

The due date came and went. Then, Mariska recalls, "Our water broke." Actually, it was the pipes in their Malibu rental house that had burst. The expectant parents turned off their computers and phones and spent "three days of bliss" at a neighbor's house on the beach. Except for that one night they took a stroll.

"All of a sudden I doubled over and couldn't talk," Mariska says. "I had been in false labor before, and a lady at the hospital said, ‘If you can't walk and talk, you're in labor, honey.' We were 20 minutes from home, so Peter found a cop and we had sirens on and were running all the red lights like an episode of SVU."

That night was also a false alarm. Though she had hoped for a natural delivery, Mariska required a C-section. "I'm not a fan of surgery," she says, "but I wanted a healthy baby." Peter was right beside her. "When I first heard August's cry, that's when I lost it," Mariska adds, smiling. "I feel like I've waited for him my whole life."

I have been onto a L&O: SVU forum...and here is some confirmed information about Mariska and Law & Order:

She is only going to be off the show for 6 episodes. Also a member in there met her Yesterday on the set.....the show they were taping was the October 24th espisode. So if anyone is jonesing like me to see my Mariska....looks like it is probably October 24th...and this information comes straight from her mouth to the person that met her. I did check on the NBC L&O forum to see if its true and seem's this information is correct. So we will see!

AND BTW...I have seen that exposed pic before...and IT IS VERY HOT!! PHEW....VERY distracting! LOL It's on my wallpaper on my desktop. Wish that I could put it on my laptop but don't think my college mates/Professors would appreciate that. LOL BUT...since I have a billion and 1 awsome pictures of her like Ms. Stewardsward, I managed to find a good Law & Order SVU wallpaper to put on it. I can comprimise! LOL (I have learned my lesson to make sure I ALWAYS check whats on my laptop before going anywhere professional... Have been embarrased before!!) GIGGLING
