Title: Banned from OZRF server?
Description: Read this.

As of late, there have been a couple of topics about getting banned from the OZRF server.

This topic was made to help Jools, so that when people come here wanting to get unbanned they read this topic, instead of making a new post so this makes it easier for themselves and for jools to unban you.

Now first off, if you have been banned, then more then likely you HAVE been banned for doing something wrong or something along those lines.

But i have noticed that a lot of the posts are about people getting auto-banned. You are getting auto-banned because Jools runs his server with a program that is aimed at being a modder detterent.
This program automatically bans anybody who tries to join the server when they have "hex" writing in there name for example: ™, ®, Ç, ë Ï ect.
I am not sure what else the program thinks is HEXED writing, but if you get auto kicked and banned before you get in-game then thats what it most likely is.

Other bans you will get is from in-game when either you get banned by a rcon holder or when someone use the server assist program, commands for that program are listed at the bottom of this post.

Topics made about being banned will be disregarded and the correct method for getting unbanned is:

Send a private message or email to jools stating:
Your RF name.
Your IP address.
The time and date you got banned.
Who banned you, if known.
How/why you got banned.
Screenshot if u have one.
If it was a ban ingame, then who else was in the server at the time.

Server commands for that server program :tu

"server test" to see if program is on.
"server vote level (level code here)" for level change
"server vote kick (player name)" for kicking player
"server vote ban (player name)" to ban player
"server y" to vote yes
"server n" to vote no

On a side note, just a reminder to RCON holders, when joining OZRF server, please check to make sure that no one else has RCON first before taking hold.
