if youre ex flogs your scoot (but denise it saying it was knicked  inc docs, comp, air brush, spares etc) are you within your rights apon finding ex property on a rally to beat the new owner round the head with the largest hardest object u can find or am i just being bitter. just getting back on my feet (in scootering terms) & i intend 2 do several rallys next year. so apon clockin my number plate should i say thats life & fuck it or get nasty?

what would u do knowing how much time & effort u put into your scooter?

p.s
all advise will go right out the window after a few cheeky vodkas ;)

If bought in good faith with paperwork you've got fuck all to stand on.

Take it up with the Ex.

did you report it to the filth. if you didn't your fucked. and to be honest, you could quite easily be in the same situation as the new owner, unless it just happens to be her new buea'
you are supposed to sign to say you have sold it, so the signature will not match ;) and you'll get it back, unless you had a pay out from the insurance, then the scooter is theirs.....
you'ld been better off wrapping the old ex cunt round the swede with a large carbon stick. :ph43r:

Defo the ex.

If I had bought it in good faith & you came up mouthing off that it your scooter & im a thief id smack you one.

tuts - November 4, 2009 09:32 AM (GMT)
You turn up and buy a scooter in good faith, complete with V5 , bill of sale etc.
12 months or so down the line some drunk bloke comes up a rally claiming the scooters his.
99.9% of scooterists would tell you to fuck off the other 0.01 % would have a large mate who would offer there thoughts on the matter.

I would do whay many others have done in a similar situation and put the whole thing down to experience and be a bit more choosing in your choice of spouse in future.

jedi - November 4, 2009 09:39 AM (GMT)
what your saying is rite i was wondering (outloud  ) how id feel when i see someone else with it, it wouldnt mater if it was the ex or some tealeaf who took it from ya its just your initial reaction at seeing it especialy on a rally after a few scoops (rational thinking cuts off after about 8)

tuts - November 4, 2009 10:29 AM (GMT)
Do some homework first.Reporting it as stolen to the rozzers will determine if it was stolen and reported. If not already so,it then will be !

And if the person who claimed to have bought it has no bill of sale and if as dread mentioned the signitures not yours on the V5 transfer that will drop someone in it (ex wife) and maybe get the scooter back.Let the buyer who then will have a grieveance pursue the ex-wife.

Two birds with one stone :)

no good talking on hear in full view ,see a brief ,you get half hour or so free at most of them .

justin - November 4, 2009 07:49 PM (GMT)
My ex wife sold my record collection and all sorts of other stuff. Aint the persons fault who bought it (even though they got it at a very unusually low price).
I should have given her something to remember me by, but didnt, which years down the line was the right thing to do.........even though if she was on fire, not only would i not piss on her......i wouldnt let anybody else either

t5bitza69 - November 4, 2009 08:21 PM (GMT)
leather the ex

Nik - November 4, 2009 08:50 PM (GMT)
A V5 document is only proof of the registered keeper, not the owner. That leaves you with one nice solution, but an equally bad problem: you can show that the scooter was registered to you as the keeper, but your ex can also suggest that she owned it at the time.

Its a shit system that I've never really understood the need for.

If you're talking about who I think you're talking about, I'd be a bit careful about what you say on here too.... you know the score there.

Juan Kerr - November 4, 2009 11:23 PM (GMT)
I know where you're coming from Kev and I feel your pain but you're channeling your energy in the wrong direction fella.

Chill and move on.

jedi - November 5, 2009 12:36 AM (GMT)

EX WIFE DID THIS WI 3 OF MI SCOOTS NEEDLESS TO SAY SHE WAS RIGHT I WAS WRONG!

rupert - November 5, 2009 05:16 PM (GMT)
I had to let myself in to my ex's shed to recover one of my own scoots because she was planning on assuming ownership.
Moral of the story, when you junk the bitch, take your valuables with you or its your own tough shit. :demon2
