I came into science fiction from reading and on TV the origial Twilight Zone.

I came out of Farscape Fandom, recent TV-wise, as well as Babylon 5. I'm a late arrival to Stargate, since we didn't get cable until just the time Farscape came out.

I hope to get to know the folks here and to enjoy the site.

I found the site when you, Selmak, signed up at Stargate-Intel. When I saw your sig I jumped over and fell in love immediately. You are so talented! It's obvious that you and the team put their hearts into the site. I've always loved Sel's Boys so much! They really make the show exciting.

I'm not too keen on the current season. I own the DVD sets of all 8 seasons and I watch them regularly. Yes, I really do. I start with season 1 episode 1 and watch through in order and when I finish with the last episode of the last season I have I start over from the beginning. I'm obsessed, it's scary, I know. :ph43r: But it's not too scary. I only have time for a couple of episodes each week.

:ban I'm at Stargate-Intel almost every day. Even if you don't see me I may be :lurking I use the same forum name everywhere I go. I started out at the SciFi board then found GateWorld then found Stargate-Intel. I don't get out to the other boards too often anymore. Real life keeps getting in the way. :SSpiff

Thank you very much for your kind words. I have to admit that I don't have a team working on Selmak. I have some wonderful people that help out (Like Zim and the BEAUTIFUL site design she did for me) but it's pretty much a one female symbiote operation.

The current season does nothing for me. I'm treating it as a new show. I haven't even had Sel review Don and Tony's shows for season 9 so far. I have to admit that I don't even own season 8 on DVD. I used to get them when they first came out, but Season 8 didn't do anything for me. I never realized how much I'd miss the character of George Hammond until General Jack Jack took over.

Yes, I don't frequent many of the forums. A couple of them are little too ... unmoderated... for my taste... especially since I'm a stargate show fan, not a particular actor or actresses. I mean, yeah, I like the boys, but... they're the boys, you know?

Make sure you send Sel a note. She likes getting mail. :) Even the really weird ones.

I don't belong to any ship. I state that the perfect man on SG for Sammy is GEORGE HAMMOND. Go ahead, scream. Think about it. Jack is alittle too much like Jake, so I always think there's a Daddy /Electra Complex issue there. I figured if she wants a Daddy, George Hammond's broken in and calmer than Jack/Jake.

Zim did all the graphics work for the headers and redesigned my site after telling me it was LONG PAST TIME TO ORGANIZE my site and some of the banners. She's quite talented that way. I have a few people that have helped out over the years, so I always make sure to give them credit as they didn't have to . (after recently having a hunk of my site cut and pasted into another site, I am a stickler about linkage/credit except for my DVD caps :lol] But I'd say.... probably over 90% of the site is my work. There was a slight problem recently with another site that nearly had me shutting down Sel completely, so I wanted to make sure I thanked a lot of people for their support.

Plus Don Davis rocks. He's been extremely gracious about the site and I appreciate his kindness as he doesn't have to be.
