Hey these samples are very good!! :yahoo:
You really know something about that.
For the way it sounds it reminds me a little of Angelo Badalamenti and John Carpenter.

I like your music. I too have a new piece. I would love for everyone to check it out. You can listen to it in two places (www.myspace.com/jeremydossfilmcomposer) or you can go to (www.jeremydossfilmcomposer.com) to download the mp3. The title of the new piece is "Silent Voices" and features a solo female voice. Not sampled...it's the real deal. Anyway, would love to hear what you guys think.

I already listened to it before you posted here :D!

It's a great piece and I really like that voice!

Cool stuff in there, Dimitri! As always, your music is very straight forward and with a nice recording sound quality.

I have done new stuff too, but mostly jingles and short stuff for our training commercials from school and I am just not satisfied with the results. These pieces, albeit short, have to be finished under an enormous (time) pressure where you just work against the clock. I have come to a point were I am thankful for any idea that immediately comes after watching a clip because usually I see it once or twice and then I come home late in the afternoon with a time code and have to deliver the music for the next day. It even happened that some pieces just went unused, replaced by some odd pre-existing selections and the people who decide that usually have no slight clue about film music. That's a pretty tough experience to make.

But I am quite proud of the casting that was done for the vietnam film. Remember, when these guys were asking for a composer in this very same forum late 2005? They had to add 3 more casting rounds because the compositions of all contenders were so good and I made it to the final round. Now, their site is dead for odd reasons and there seems to be no more info about this film. I really hope they managed to get it finished.

Just a question here : Is ''Helicopter'' any close to the James Bond Theme in any way? I thought I saw (hm hm, I mean heard :music: ) some ressemblences at :15 til the end, where the dynamics are not exactly the same but ressembling, the key it is in is calling to my ''hear memory'', like the same ingredients for a different recipee(Thank you for understanding my lack of knowledge, I want to check if my ''souvenirs'' are correct or not, If I am wrong(wich I probably am!) please explain the ressemblences/diffs to educate a :clown: thanx)

My comment is not necessary, you know what level you are at as a writer and I think it shows, so... thumbs up, man no doubt

My One ''bad'' comment : not enough music on your website
