I guess Alan Silvestri is now the most expensive composer in the whole world, since one of his CD costs about 200 $, and not on ebay or anything, but on an actual soundtrack retailer like buysoundtrax !

Well, we already had a poll of how much people would be willing to spend for a copy of predator with the result that hardly anyone would spend more than 150 euros.
But I am not surprised that Buysoundtrax is doing this insane price tag. They have done so before. Hell... next to predator there is jerry's bandolero for 124 $ and david newman's hoffa for 39,95. Give me a break!

You mean the good old fashioned R-rated way and not the PG-13 AVP version. This is definitely something for Sommers. He can make it in the style of Deep Rising. And I'm sure he won't ruin traditional taglines like Anderson did in AVP. The coolest line out of the Predator movies and Anderson cut the best word in half. Result: it loses it's effect. :angry:
Both franchises were R-rated and he had to make it PG-13.

Lol, seriously... no way would I buy it again, especially at such a nasty price.
My personal goal is to own every Silvestri score ever on proper CD releases, not to hoard all silvestri CDs that were ever printed in a large warehouse ;)
Buysoundtrax offerings in their rare titles section are a joke for most of the time (especially those that they buy for a dollar on amazon marketplaces). There are a couple of promos that might be interesting though but a lot of that stuff is just too pricey too.
