Title: This would be an interesting assignment for Alan

Gore Verbinski is attached to a film version of the 'Bioshock' game:

Now that could result in a really great score by Alan. It's a Universal production, so Jerry Bruckheimer isn't producing. Looks like a chance for Gore to work with Alan again?

You know what, alex? I thought the exact same thing when i read that gore was doing bioshock. :D

Its my big hope too that alan and gore will unite again for this one, especially because alan already has scored several game adaptions. Bruckheimer is not involved and the folks at universal have always had a soft spot for alan.

I'm afraid though that verbinski may have developed a working relationship with remote control already and that will be hard to break. Zimmer and his gang scored every of verbinskis films since the ring and weatherman and at least these two werent produced by bruckheimer.

Anyways, it can't hurt to have all fingers crossed.

Yeah, I also thought about Alan when I saw this news.
In fact, I'd like the score to be composed or by Alan (the game universe is a great canva for a composer) or the original game composer, Gary Schyman, who did a great job for the Bioshock game.
I hope that Gore Verbinsky has not completely left the idea of working again with Alan.
