I read over at IMDb that director, actor, producer Sydney Pollack has died. Most known for such films as Three Days of the Condor, Tootsie, Out of Africa and The Firm among others. His last feature as a director was The Interpreter with music by James Newton Howard. Pollack also acted in some movies such as the Alan Silvestri scored Death Becomes Her as a doctor and the James Newton Howard scored Michael Clayton. Pollack was also a producer to such films as the James Newton Howard scored King Ralph and Michael Clayton among others.
What a terrible surprise! A great director and a charismatic man. Yes, I can remember his role in Michael Clayton and he seemed healthy as ever. He will be missed.
