Hello first post here. I am a big fan of James Newton Howard, him along with Thomas Newman I believe are from another world. During the climatic scene in the 1989 film "Major League" there are two absolutely phenomenal songs (or scores); one is "pennant fever", and the other one I can't find anywhere as it does not appear on the soundtrack album.
This song occurs when Jake Taylor (Tom Berenger) gets up to the plate against the yankees in the final at bat and points to the bleachers a la babe ruth. The song sounds very similar to "pennant race" but has a rocky IV type vibe to it. I could probably run a marathon listening to these two tracks.
I was hoping some of you more resourceful and knowledgeable James Newton Howard fans would be able to help me out here. Thanks for your time.

I can't help you, sorry... But I was looking for the exact same passage of music from that film, and unfortunately it wasn't on the soundtrack. Totally 80's heroic fanfare. ;)
Good I am glad I am not alone! Bummer, let me know if you come across it.
