Title: Hidalgo end titles?

I'm quite fond of JNH's score to HIDALGO, but have not seen the movie. Can anyone tell me what music is used during the end titles?

I have no idea, I haven't seen the movie. But I guess the end titles music isn't on the CD album.

If the DVD is out, they are on the DVD. You could try to rip them there.

Yes, well... that's the idea. I'm just trying to find out whether it will be worth my while before I go to the trouble of renting the dvd.

End titles is a suite of the music from the CD so don't bother to rent the DVD only for the end titles.

That's a very wise post, Lee.
Rent the DVD only if you're interested in the film. Regarding the music, the CD is enough.

Do you know if there is an expanded score on the web (just like The Water Horse) ? I bought the CD anyway, but it seems pretty short and missing some highlight cues from the movie ?

As far as I know, there is no Hidalgo expanded score, neither is there a complete one.
Although , I am agree to say that this score is excellent, I think it doesn't need any expanded score as the original commercial release is quite good and contains most of the music heard in the movie. Additional tracks are only variations of themes already contained in the score.
But despite, i'll keep searching for an expanded :yahoo:

I got hold of a DVD-rip of Hidalgo just for the credits because I saw the end of the movie on Sky, and it's comprised of about 3 or 4 OST tracks edited together, but the mix in all of them is different to the OST, and some edits I heard in the film are there as well. I'd say it's worth having if you can get hold of them, but not special enough to buy/rent the DVD for. (PM me if you really want it)
