Title: Silvestri site vs. JNH site

Okay guys, the moment of truth has arrived for me. Now that my JNH site has been online for two years and has kind of matured, which site do you think is best right now and why? With "best" I mean the whole picture: graphics, content, up-to-dateness, etc. And nop, this isn't a poll about which is your favorite composer! (hehe) Be honest please.

I can't decide between my two babies. Just like parents can't decide between their children :D

Can you put another option: "I like both on the same level" ? :D

Since you have asked for it...

I like your JNH site more because of two reasons:

The elegant golden font on black ground gives it a warm look while your silvestri-site seems to be rather cold. Alan is looking rather sad on your entry banner which makes it even colder.

It seems to be slightly more up-to-date when it comes to (album) news. Ok, there has not been that much news about Alan lately but i have the feeling that you are slightly faster in updating the JNH discography than the silvestri discography.

Just some minor quibbles though because both sites really rock!

OK. I voted. They are just as good. :)

I just added a third option, like Lee asked :D

Your comment kind of confirmed my feelings MacG. The JNH site has indeed a warmer feel to it, largely due to the main color combinations. I thought about making my Silvestri site a bit warmer, but that would be very difficult because the main color is blue. Blue is by nature a color with a colder feel to it. I could add a third color to the main design that is warmer though.

And actually James looks even more sad than Alan at the intro page :D And indeed there hasn't been much news around Alan this year.

I like Alan-Silvestri.com better. The cool blue, the black and the ultra-thin lines are just working perfectly together.
