Today is Simone's birthday but who received the present were their fans with that enterview, I really love it.
Just confirm all I felt from her acting, she is really a great actress and person.

that is possibly one of the best interviews i have read, it was open and honest and cleared up a lot of issues. I am glad Simone was given the oppurtunity to have her say on the issues raised about her in reference to Helen Stewart. And although i always believed in her, and fought in her corner through the debate, to be honest abit to passionatly lol, it was nice to hear her tell us all the truth. And i just hope the people that were upset have read this interview.

The comments Simone made about playing Helen, and how she would of been unable to play her had she been uncomfortable, were my arguments exactly and i am over the moon she has been given the oppurtunity to stick up for herself in some sense.

And i was also over the moon to read Simone is not totally adverse to a one of special telling us where Helen and Nikki are today. Just hope Mandanna feels the same.

Simone said if the script was right she would consider it .... mmmmmm, im doing an ma in creative writing at the moment.. I feel a project coming on ... I might just get on my computer and try my hand at writing it. It could be my first job!!!! lol i wish....

lol nikkiwotthefk, i was the same, i had to stop visiting the debate about Simone for fear of loosing my membership, some of things i wanted to say were not very pleasent, and quite offensive. And it was for that reason i didnt say them, for i am entitled to believe in Simone just as the other people were entitled to their opinion. So if i was to start sprouting of as much as i would of liked it would only result in me offending people and loosing membership, so i bowed out the debate, as much as i love a good debate i was finding it hard to stay diplomatic about something i felt very passionalty about.

I'm just very happy she did this interview! I always tried to feel all you guys were feeling all along, but some interviews got to me anyways. Without knowing it... Unconsciencely things just get to you if you hear/read them enough. Well, nothing like that is ever going to happen again! It's good that I kept loving her no matter what those articles said. But I just wanted to be honest now, because obviously I wasn't as strong as everyone here. Well, people make mistakes right? I'm happy I stayed away from all those discussions on the nikkiandhelen site...

I know exactly how you both feel i got really upset with all the bullshit that was said but i knew Simone would never say them kind of things shes got to much love & respect for Helen & her fans & alot of people are jealous of her [and is it any wonder?] so we'll just go on supporting loving & believing in Simone no matter what anyone says about her :kiss1

While I always did support Simone on the issues raised previously, just a slight word of caution please.

I appreciate many people did support Simone, some did have questions - and no matter how wrong we felt they were - we have to remember they are just as entitled as anyone to give their reasons.
To use the word bullshit when describing the feelings of others is always then leading you open to someone reading this, coming on here and having a go about the comments because it could be construed as personal.

No please, don't get me wrong, this isn't us saying don't say how pleased you are to see those who thought otherwise were proved wrong (like I've said, we are - Boy we are) - but we know from experience, sometimes care about wording has to be given because it can ignite the whole issue again and that is the last thing we want because this wouldn't be fair on you for a start.

Okay - hope that comes across okay and its understood what we're trying to say.

This is one of the best interviews ever, very honest.

I love the fact she's willing to take the role of Helen for an one-off, what would I give for a special from Nikki and Helen or a movie with the original characters !

Also I was very surprised the network didn't want to take her back for season 2 !! That would have been such a big mistake !!
