Are you the same person who runs the MySpace page ? Because the biography looks rather same (but it may just be a friendly share), especially on the "Favourite things" topic.

I wanted to know where you got that information on Simone liking those books : "An Intimate History of Humanity by Theodore Zeldin, The Cement Garden by Ian McEwan, The Wasp Factory by Ian Banks, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Therese Raquin by Zola, A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupei and Perfume by Patrick Suskind"

By the way, the right spelling is Antoine de Saint-Exupery. He was a french pilot (and writer). His name was given to the airport of Lyon (Lyon-Saint-Exupéry) as well as the TGV (train) station as he was born there. Lyon is actually the only town I know of that has a statue of Saint-Exupéry.

Hi,

First of all, thanks for the correction in spelling will try and sort that as soon as possible, and will be nice to add that snippet of history about him.

No, we haven't got a MySpace page up - to be honest didn't even realize there was one for Simone.

The fav. things, her biography etc all came originally from an official site Simone ran many years ago which unfortunately just didn't succeed and was pulled. So as far as we are aware it is accurate.

Is this the MySpace page you mean? http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...endid=246502807

If so, I know who created that one.

I guess it's a fan ;)

Well, obviously there are many, as I was actually referring to that page : http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...endid=227864991

Of course it's not Simone, I have a few friends running myspace pages for singers, sometimes on their behalf, sometimes because there is (was) no official one yet. But I think it is a nice tribute anyway. well, even though myspace seems more particularly designed for music (and anyone in the music industry who would want good and easy promotion). For the moment,I haven'"t heard about official pages linked to cinema (but well, myspace grows very fast and I surely don't know everything)

Well, I was interested in the book lists as it stroke me, because I never heard of anyone who could name two of my favourite books among their favourites.

Anyway, I read from an interview somewhere that Simone is improving her Italian but does anyone know how her french is ? I understand her father is french, with algerian descent too which leaves a few possibilities on the language skills (french / arab). But that doesn't mean Simone can speak the language, especially since she was raised in scotland, it will depend on how the parents dealt with the language during childhood.

Oh, by the way, did you mean Simone was running some official website a few years ago ? (wouldn't it rather have been her agent, actually ?)

Simone is apparently fluent in French, but beyond that we don't know anything more.

As for the official site, Simone herself using a webmaster ran it. It ran into various problems (far to much to try and just explain), so closed down fairly quickly.

Hasn't anybody from this site met her at some promotionnal occasion ? I understand since she gave birth Simone is probably not much everywhere like she might have been during the Bad Girls promo (as I can understand, but I wasn't there back then), but then during the past years it may have been easier to meet. Well, I guess nobody really tried to speak to her in french then

I have the feeling Simone is not very famous in France. Due to the fact her appearances in TV Series and movies do not get broadcasted or simply are not displayed on national TV. Anyway, I could be wrong, I'm not much of a TV person anyway.

Was there a forum too ? I read in some interview that there were people registering and pretending to be her (actually, this impersonation problems is big on some successfull forums .... I used to help running the WTA World Forum and it was hell). That could be among the various problems you are referring to. How long did the official site run ? When was that ?

Have I asked something complicated ? :eek

Speaking of, Rune Tune, I haven't found (yet) a place here where you introduce yourself ; I don't know much of you, who made a nice website and forum which are great tributes for anybody, it's a great piece of work and I'd love t know its history, as wella s yours - what made you do this site.
