I was up in Scotland last week visiting my girlfriends family and we went to Stirling for the day. I thought it was so beautiful ... went up to Stirling Castle and the views from there were simply amazing.

As we were walking around the town i was in awe i was in the city Simone is from ... im a hopeless fan i know lol. My girlfriend was taking the piss out of me all day saying "oohhh she might of shoped in here" lol

Stirling really was beautiful with its cobbled streets ... it reminded me of Winchester in Hampshire actually where i used to live.

My girlfriend and I are thinking of moving to Scotland; she has just become an Aunt and we both fell in love with the baby. I would like to live in Stirling if i moved there, if people take a hol to Scotland do go visit - the William Wallace statue was so cool as well - had a great trip

Scotland in general is a lovely place - Stirling is fairly typical of a lot of towns and cities in the whole area. We are fortunate enough to have family in the area so have spent quite a lot of time there over the years and still love it when we can visit.

I have been told next time i visit to go to the highlands ... its the kind of place i love, gorgeous scenery and views ... Inveness has been suggested to me. Cant wait to go ... i can sit and look at the beautiful country four hrs and just write. Would love to see some of the Locks too. I was only there for a few days so didnt get to do much as we were there for to visit the baby. My girlfriends grandparents did take us to New Lanak for the day to the old cotton mills (i learnt so much)

It helped i like that sort of thing put me in the good books of the grandparents who i was meeting for the first time .. (as a friend of the granddaughter of course lol)
