I don't know about how anyone else feels, but I thought how Meg was written out of the show was somewhat insensitve - given an ex-cast memebers impending birth any time soon.

It certainly wouldn't have been intentional, and unfortunate it might have been, but I don't think any offense would have been taken by most viewers or Simone herself even.
I don't think many viewers or fans would have even registered while watching to be honest.
