Hi everyone....

I've just got my copy of The Girl in The Picture which Simone starred in in 1986, Has anyone else seen it??

She does'nt seem to have a talking part sadly but just appears on occasions, looking beautiful in a young way! It says she performs a song called "The Dividing line" does anyone know at what point in the film this can be heard?

What do you think of the film??

I didnt really enjoy the film...i think because i was so dissapointed in the lack of Simone. I'll need to watch it again and see if it improves the second time around.

The song she sings is in the restuarant scene near the end...its playing in the background Smile

ive got the film, but never realised she sings in it. gonna have to rewatch the end.

i wasn't that keen on it either, but thats cos i was dissapointed with the lack of simone also

Simone mentions singing in the film in the online BBC Question and Answer session she did after doing Monarch of the Glen.

I have had a re-watch and found the bit where she sings-thanks....
Yeah have a re-watch SIAA, I totally agree with you and SW2 about the dissapointingly small amount she is in it-but at least it led her to want to do more tv and film Very Happy

Have you all seen OWH's new music vid? She has captured the best of The Girl in the Picture there and in a very stylish way I must add-thanks to her!

That video is absolutely brilliant isn't it!

I am thinking of asking OWH if we can use that and put it up on SL Net because its Simone as much as Helen orientated and we reckon it will really appeal to a lot of fans.

We are also looking at getting some more clips of Simone's roles online - but money is the biggest problem - film clips use the largest bandwidth and space, and the site is already so big and uses so much bandwidth..... it might not be feasible!
