Title: We've always been this to free of this pain
Description: BAW!!!

*For reference for people who haven't seen Death Note before, this is the normal second opening.

Death Note's second opening (What's Up People?!) makes everything fucking awesome.

And I mean everything.

Pretty damn well edited too.

Never did like the second opening. I liked the first one by Alumina (was it?) a lot better.

Alumina was the first ending theme.

And I've never understood the dislike for the second opening. We've finally got an anime that does something different, that tries to actually stand out from all the rest of the boring, generic, crappy J-Pop garbage and people hate it. It's fucking Japanese metal; how can that not be awesome?

Never liked hypes.

The second opening was a wannabe rip-off of System of a Down which suck anyway. It doesn't matter if it stands out as long as it still sucks.

I could "be different" by walking around naked with jelly smeared on my body and rape babies. Wouldn't make me awesome.

...

Wait a second. Yes it would.

A more acceptable criticism would have been "The second opening was a wannabe rip-off of Serial Experiments Lain. It doesn't matter if it stands out as long as it still sucks." Instead you had to fulfill your infantile fetish, thus destroying your argument.

As my good friend put it, What's Up, People?! is awesome because it goes in a completely unexpected direction without any warning (in the series, the theme changes in the middle of the Yotsuba arc, hardly a milestone). Seriously, What's Up People?! blows The World out of the water.

A more acceptable criticism

Isn't that kind of like saying, "I'd like your opinion better if it were more like mine?"

Anywho, it's anime.

I care not.

:D

No, since I've never heard Lain's opening, but I know it's supposed to be in a similar vein as Death Note's. Not to mention comparing two songs is much more apt than comparing a song to pedophilia and rape.

Go back to your hockey.

What if the song is about pedophilia and rape?

Ooo! Ooo!!

So WHAT! .......So WHAT!!
