| He'd been hearing for a while now several whispers about what Gabrielle Brown chose to do during her weeekends. And no, not the days where she hit the parties and broke hearts, but the nights where she couldn't be found at the parties. But honestly, Yonkers wasn't that big, and it was a gossip sieve, so she had to know that someone would come and visit her eventually. Of course, it was almost midnight, so she probably wasn't expecting anybody to drop by the pub, but then, Sasha liked to do the unexpected now that it came to Ellie. He called her Gabrielle out loud, he did his best to annoy her whenever possible, and he disliked it when people spread rumors about her. Call him a gentlemen, but rumors annoyed him, and besides, he had already taken the usual route with Ellie. They'd slept together, she'd left him in the bed, and he'd woken up the next morning with the party host laughing at him. To Ellie, he was another notch in her bedpost, but he made himself count. Nowadays, Sasha was almost always around her, smirking as he found yet another way to get her riled up. She looked cute when she was riled up, after all. Well, she generally was cute, but there was something about her when she was annoyed. Yes, he realized that perhaps he wasn't the most sane when it came to her, but at least he could remember things when he was around her. Of course, it was all mainly ways to annoy her, but credit should be given to him, because normally, nobody could get emotions from Ellie. She was cold, and most people knew it, but he liked it when she snapped and yelled at him. 'Cause, come on, who'd want to wonder if they had sex with a robot? Getting emotions from her was just Sasha's way of verifying that she was real - you know, that she wasn't some unearthly angel sent to earth to tease them all. She wasn't really an angel, though, more like a fallen angel, although her music was heavenly enough. And really, Sasha was only sitting in Thomas O'Malley's to listen to her. He'd managed to make his drinks stretch out the hours that she had been playing, only really staring at her hands moving over the piano. That was how he was still on his second drink at midnight, just watching her play. He had always been a sucker for the piano, and although he played horribly, he just loved how it sounded when someone experienced was playing. Clearly Ellie was someone experienced, from the sounds she was drawing out of the rundown piano. He made a mental note in his head to include piano based music on the mix CD in the works for her. Only, well, he'd probably not give it to her, because she'd take it completly the wrong way and probably burn it, and do who knows what to his social standings. Sasha didn't really care that much, but he was still social enough to know that he didn't want his ranking knocked down. As the man sitting next to him sent a drink to the "sexy pianist," his eyes narrowed ever so slightly. So a man older then him could send Ellie a drink, but it was a sixteen year old that slid off the stool and walked to the piano, leaning against it. The vibrations made him jump slightly, but he kept his cool and looked at Ellie. "Hello Gabrielle. Surprise seeing you here." The man back at the bar was probably glaring at him by now, but would most likely be laughing when Ellie kicked him out on his ass. |
