Appearance;;
Nobody gets the title 'manwhore for life' without a good reason behind it and Cody Pratt is no exception. He's been blessed with good genetics, despite the habits of his parents, these shone through. All through highschool he was praised for being a lot of things, attractive was one of them, 'sex god' was another. Things haven't really changed much with Cody over time, he's certainly not as attractive as he was as a teenager, but for his age he's doing pretty well (especially when put next to Jack, or so he likes to point out). His fear of getting older and unattractive transferred down to his daughter, so most people would agree that he's pretty obsessed with self fitness. Between going to war, Cody partakes in endless games of hockey due to an obsession with the sport in his younger years that hasn't died down and there's no denying the fact that he's fit, along with slightly muscled. He likes to joke that he's built kind of like a pyramid, close to the ground and incredibly stable. What with the fact that's he's certainly a bit compact, that's somewhat true and when it comes to fighting he doesn't go down easily either, not that it has anything to do with his size, it's something called determination, which he learned from Finn Tucker. Standing at only 5'8", he's run into many situations where he's wished he was taller, but usually tops most of his girlfriends by at least an inch. His weight is at the average mark despite his low height however, probably due to how much junk he allows himself to eat with the excuse that he exercises regularly to make up for it. Aging gracefully isn't something Cody is looking forward to, so he's putting it off as long as possible. Luckily, he still looks considerably young for his age. There are no obvious signs of wrinkles on his face, no sagging skin. Considering he and his best friend, Finn Tucker, had planned to jump off of a bridge when they hit twenty in fear of getting old, it's surprising that Cody still manages to look like he's in his twenties, instead of two years out of them.

Gentle would be a good way to describe most of Cody's features, unlike a lot of men his face seems quite blended together. The only things that really stand out like they don't fit, but only slightly, are his highly placed cheekbones, something he's detested ever since he was young. Most of his features cause him to appear very childish, naive and innocent, when that isn't the case. In relative position, all the pieces of his face seem to fit just where they should, which is a blessing in itself, not to mention the fact that most of the pieces themself are suitable. His nose has been described as 'ergonomically correct', which means that it's perfectly fitted to his face, both in length, size and the way it curves, which is much like a ski slope. As far as his lips go, they're quite average, except for their standout pink colouration, which has drawn some attention to them on many occasions. The reason they stand out so much would simply be the very pale colouration of his skin, it's as if he's spent year living in his basement, when the fact of the matter is that he spends almost all of his time outside working. Funnily enough, he simply cannot tan and has been that pale almost all of his life, which has admittedly been something he's always trying to change. Actually, he's tried to tan once or twice, but then Bambi laughed at hi and he gave up on that idea once and for all. Facial hair is a topic that Cody finds extremely embarassing for one very good reason. He didn't hit puberty until he was sixteen and to this day, it takes him forever just to grow stubble. Hence, he hardly has any. When he does though, it's a dark brown colour, much unlike his hair. His eyebrows are a similar tone as well.

Innocent is a word that Cody shouldn't be associated with, but his eyes take away absolutely any edge he might of had in his appearance. They make him the kind of man that a lost child would walk up to and ask for help, which is a big problem, because he's not that type of guy. Cute would be a way to describe him as a whole, though he hates that word with every fiber of his being. His eyes, a sharp and bright blue tone, only add to that issue as well. Inside of them a person can usually find Cody's feelings and if they search hard enough, they can reach down to his soul and pull out every little thing he's thinking, there is absolutely no mask on Cody, he is who he is and when he's in pain the world can see for all he cares. However, considering how often his is high it's no surprise that his eyes are not always there clear blue shade. Often they'll be in another galaxy altogether, unreadable if not completely blank and when that happens it's of no surprise to anybody, no secret that he's high. His eyes are the only way to get a for sure answer to his state of being at any point and time, whether it be emotion or what influence he's under. Drugs have had the biggest influence over Cody for most of his life and the effects of them are slowly wearing into him. On the outside he seems fine, but he's fully aware that his lungs aren't what they used to be and along with Jack, he's collapsed an artery at least once in his lifetime. Lately he's been finding he's losing a lot of weight with what he's doing, but he hasn't bothered to raise concern from anybody. Why should he? Live hard, that's the family saying and even if it hasn't helped his little sister any, Cody isn't planning to change anytime soon.

To complete the seemingly golden boy theme Cody has going on with his appearance, is his hair. Back in the day he kept it cut in a much different way, more of a shag, but with age he's been cutting it shorter and shorter, for fear of balding. He knows that sometime soon that day will come, but he's determined not to let anybody know it's happening either. So far he hasn't found any signs pointing to gray hairs either, so he's on his toes for that. The colour of his hair depends much on the season, but usually it's a sandy blonde. A couple years ago he went through a stage where it was nearly completely brown, so it's easy to say that his hair is nearly unpredictable. The sun has a big affect on it, as does seemingly everything else, including his state of health. Lately, the only style he's been putting his hair into is a kind of lazy tossled mess or spiking it with gel, he's taking advantage of that tactic while he can, before his hair starts thinning. He's been told more then once that's he acts way too young for his age, but that's one thing he knows he wants to reflect completely in his appearance. Especially his teeth, he's had a crazy obsession with cleanliness ever since he was young, something he probably gained from his oldest sister. He showers at least two times a day and usually smells like soap, unless he's been smoking previously. Hence, he always looks clean, as do his teeth. Some would call it excessive, but that's just how he is, it's even worse when he's on heavy drugs, due to his paranoia of getting any kind of infection.

Clothing wise, Cody is pretty relaxed. Getting him into formal attire is like making a fish breath out of water, it just isn't going to happen without a lot of effort (or evolution for that matter). Tuxedos are his worst nightmare and he's never actually been to a wedding, so it's simple to say he's never even gotten into one. He generally just wears jeans, but he might occasionally go in slacks, sweat pants or nothing but his boxers if he feels so inclined. Just like his mind, he's pretty carefree when it comes to dressing and tosses on whatever he feels like it. Considering he also works on road construction a lot of the time, it's not impossible to see him in an old t-shirt splattered with dirt, either. He's rather adverse to jewellery and anything else decorative, finding it too finicky and preferring to stick to his plain old person. Neckties or anything else constricting around his neck drives him insane, along with clothing that stops him from having full motion. He's a beach boy through and through most of the time, which goes well with most of his looks. Flip flops aren't something he's foreign to, as long as it's comfortable, Cody will wear it. Simple as that.

[birds in my ears and a devil on my shoulder]

Loves;; Women, brunettes, getting so drunk his speech slurs, dogs, marijuana, laughing, winning, green, mac 'n cheese, the beach, '80s rock and roll.
Hates;; Responsibility, being told to 'grow up', memories, yelling, orange, wheat bread, silence, hip hop, taxes, when Jack is right about something, nagging.
Fears;; Needles. Being and sleeping alone.
Habits;; Scratching the back of his neck, tensing his muscles, chewing the inside of his cheek.

Personality;;
Cody Pratt has a lot of titles pinned to his person. Manwhore, asshole, cheater, child. They go on and very few of them are positive, the reason being, that Cody isn't the kind of guy you'd want to bring your daughter home, to befriend your son, to know your wife, to take your husband drinking. His reputation in the town isn't about him being a good guy, it's about the fact that he's fun, great to hang with, as long as you have nothing important to do anytime soon. He's the biggest failure since who knows when and he's starting to slowly becoem aware of it. At one time he had great potential, was clearly set up to be something important, a hockey player at the very least. But he blew it and it's all his fault, for doing what he did and still does. However, the absolute biggest problem for Cody and also for his sister, Robyn, is this: they don't change. Since the age of sixteen Cody had been how he is, immature and carefree, out to support himself and have a good time, doing things to get ahead and help himself, unknowingly pushing others down. He's dependant on everybody around him and everybody around him knows it, too. He's not below grovelling and pleading, begging. He's a drug addict, a horrible example, a disgusting piece of human filth. Everything bad to be said about a person can be said about Cody, it's the downright truth, but there are also a lot of people that love him and would never let somebody talk that way about him. It's funny how that is, isn't it?

Lying is nothing new to Cody. He's a professional at it really, it all started back in his childhood, because he was never taught any better. That's really his problem when it comes to anything, he was never taught any better. He's actually a bit of a compulsive liar and at times will spindle off a half truth just to see if he gets caught, which at this stage in the game rarely happens. It's something he does unconciously now, so people around him often have to learn when he's lying and when he's telling the truth. Drugs haven't helped with this matter at all, they certainly haven't made it better and they've definetly made it worse. Over the years he's promised to quit a million times, but somehow it never seems to happen. Marijuana and all varieties of different drugs have a hold of Cody so tightly that he's quite obviously too wrapped up in them to quit voluntarily, unless he had a horrifically good reason to. When he was overseas he suffered from a serious period of withdrawal, but it seems that every time he comes home he gets right back on them again, along with drinking, which has been his guilty pleasure for a long number of years. Over indulging on such things has been a problem of his, which has led to numerous hangovers and overdoses, none of which have been serious enough to kill him, but there have been weeks where he's been tremendously ill and unable to get out of bed, giving no explanation as to why.

The biggest problem for Cody with drinking, at least in his perspective, is how he behaves when he does choose to drown some alcohol. Along with being a completely happy and crazy drunk, Cody has the tendancy to get very gender confused after a few beers. Rather, he can't tell the difference between men, women and transvestites. This has led to a lot of awkward situations for both himself, others and specifically, Jack. Along with that issue is the fact that Cody fullheartedly does not believe that he could ever be, in any form, gay. Hence he doesn't stop drinking and won't take Jack's word for it. Intelligence isn't something Cody is known for, nor is it something he boasts about. There isn't one good braincell left in his head and there weren't all that many there when he started out, he's all looks no brain, some braun. He remembers very little of his uncompleted schooling and frankly doesn't care. Not only that, but he seriously lacks common sense and even the normal facts of life seem to skip right past him. His writing itself looks like chicken scratch, but he's surprisingly not terrible at english and can spell decently. Unfortunately, when he tries to talk intelligently, it never quite comes out that way and he has a very common habit of cutting off parts of his words, which makes him sound quite stupid indeed. This isn't likely to stop anytime soon though, because he simply refuses to get himself any more education, he's quite happy being a cement layer for the rest of his life actually.

That leads us to another thing about Cody, he's actually pretty humble when it comes down to it. Though he's sure he'd like to have more money, get a house of his own, buy some new shoes... he's pretty content living with Jack and wouldn't want to take Bambi away from where she is, no matter how bad it is for her. On top of that, he also really hates work and everything to do with it, the environment, being bossed around. Stubborn would be a good word to explain Cody, he likes to do things his way until he's absolutely sure that his way is wrong and it's been proven, not just told to him. Being corrected in anything ticks him off and though he's a small guy, he has a fairly short temper and has learned a trick or two over the years. He's far too fun loving for his own good and for the good of those around him, that's something he isn't willing to fix and wouldn't change even if he could. He's the kind of guy who'd rather go to a party then pick up his paycheck, who won't quit until he's fifty and even then will never quite be settled. It's hell for everybody around him, yes, but he just refuses to become old and boring. That one of his fears, becoming boring, settling into an average suburban life. As much as he wants to get married, he can't imagine the white picket fence, the identical houses, the perfectly mowed lawns. To him it's horrendously wrong, sickening and he can't deal with it, something that turns a lot of women off.

Women. Talk to Cody about them and you'll get a hundred opinions depending on the day and more then a hundred names of past girlfriend, past wives, past fiancee's. The list adds up and adds up until he doesn't remember where he started. Some girls he doesn't even remember, due to the multitude that have surrounded him in his lifetime. But somehow they keep coming, keep falling in love with him. Probably because at times, he can be sweet, loving, caring, compassionate, but then he'll be the same way to another girl only a few days later. Sometimes this makes him seem absolutely heartless, he's a vicious cheater and has been one since the day he started dating. He's a bit of a womanizer, going through them quickly. When he's with a girl he'll act like nothing is wrong, make a mistake and then grasp onto them as hard as possible, until finally letting them split. Truthfully, he goes through just as much pain as most of the girls with every break up, but he has a deep longing to find that 'right one' and he hasn't yet felt that spark with anybody. Well, anybody except Ronnie Frost, but he knows that's sick and twisted. He's been plenty of bad things in his lifetime, but a molester, is not something he wants to be. Some guy who dates a girl thirteen years younger then him? That's really not a flattering title either. The idea scares him, through and through, finally falling in love. Sometimes he wants it more then anything and others he wants the idea out of his head, thinks he should just keep doing what he's doing forever.

On top of all the bad things said about Cody already, there are a couple good things about him that only slightly round out and make people forget about the bad things. Such as his usually happy go lucky attitude and his ability to make just about anything into a joke. He's been at that for years actually, trying to make every possible situation funny. Lately that's been died down a bit, but it's bound to come back eventually. To those he gets attached to, he can be an endless source of entertainment, teaching them any number of useless things to keep them occupied. He tries his best to please those he cares about and shockingly, seems to be extremely self concious. There was a time when Cody had a future, where he was an extremely likable guy, but those days have passed. With age is supposed to come maturity, but for Cody that hasn't happened. Back in highschool nearly everybody loved him, though he was funny, entertaining, if a bit too egotistical. Nowadays people just look at him as immature and irresponsible, both of which are true. Growing up is the last thing Cody wants to do but truthfully, it's the first thing he should be doing if he ever wants to have any kind of enjoyable life. Yet he can't do it, instead he keeps waiting at the bottom of the barrel for somebody to come along and save him. Unfortunately, there's nobody waiting at the top.

IRRESPONSIBLE. SELFISH. LUSTFUL. DIMWIT.

Family;; Robyn Pratt Whitlow, Bambi Pratt, Delilah 'Pratt', Piper 'Pratt'
Love Interests;; Ronnie Frost, Leah Bones.
Other Involved Characters;; Kendra Furrows, friend. Lucky Whitaker, rival.

History;;
June 12th was never an important date in the Pratt house, it was another child, the third to be exact, another burden, another woe on their household. By the time Cody was born, his older siblings were already five or six, showing the age gap between a lot of his family. His household was mixed from the beginning, with three parents living close together. Taking one look at his family would easily explain how he ended up how he did, his Father, the man with six children and two wives. His Mother, the woman sucked into drugs by a player who only wanted her money. Then there were his older siblings, Daniel and Elizabeth, who had always been in charge of watching out for the younger children, who at one time Cody was himself. It was a disfunctional family, they lived in a small rancher and factually, Cody slept in one of the larger hall closets for most of his childhood, until he outgrew it. However, to him that was normalcy. He woke up to his parents drowning bourbon in the kitchen and went to sleep to loud, high induced laughing. Truth was, it never really bothered him, he looked at the other kids and didn't feel a hint of jealousy. He looked upon it all as freedom, something none of the other kids in his class had. Robyn was born only a year after Cody and though it was technically Cody's job to take care of her, he never quite did that. Treating her like everybody else treated her was easy and the two of them, though deep down caring for each other like only children with mistreating parents could, fought constantly throughout there entire childhood. Not to mention Cody never said a word about her whorish activities. Soon enough, two younger brothers added themselves to the family mixture and took up even more space. Let's just say, when kindergarten rolled around, it was nice to get out of the smoke in his house for a change.

Unfortunately, he struggled constantly in school just to recieve lousy C's and was never much of a bright kid, so he turned to hockey early on instead. Which is where Finn and Jack come in. The three of them were in the same kindergarten class, yes, but meeting Finn through hockey was the starting point to a new side of Cody's life. There was somebody else like him, a wild and crazy soul with no regard for the rules, who understood what it was like to freeze your balls off sleeping on the front porch because your parents wouldn't let you in. They were instant friends, Cody watched Finn's back, though he never did have a clue about the abuse his friend under went as a child. To this day hardly anybody knows, Finn Tucker is a hero and that's the end of it, plain and simple. Hockey quickly became Cody's obsession and kept him from a lot of things, but only for a little while. His gradual decline into drugs at age twelve was inevitable with his family all around him, passing around drinks, smoking, shooting up. He'd been drinking since he was as young as eight (yet another thing he shared with his near alcoholic friend Finn) and the smoking started at eleven, only to be followed up with a heavy dose of weed and some verbal sense smacked into him by both his father and his older brother.

Even in his teenage years, Cody's parents never laid a hand on them. They yelled, sure, but that's what people with hangovers do. Most of the time, he just stayed being ignored. His younger sister did most of his chores for him, despite there overdeveloped hatred for each other and slowly but surely there two groups of friends melded together, once Cody had dated enough of Robyn's bitchy possy. If there was one thing that Cody ever hated about Finn, it was the fact that he liked his sister and though it wasn't apparent to Cody, Robyn liked him back. That was okay in the end, he'd never cared enough about his sister to stop it, though he did advise Finn against going out with her... She never was a nice girl. It was early on in highschool that Cody met Jack, as his reputation as a 'manwhore' began to pick up and the people around him slowly but shortly made him more and more popular among themselves. He always had a lot of friends, went to a lot of parties, crashed at a lot of peoples houses. However, he had managed to overlook Jack in that time period, until Finn introduced the two of them. At first, Cody bluntly hated the guy. Too smart, too rich, too everything. But slowly and surely Jack grew on him, until the three of them were practically an unstoppable force.

Then Jack and Robyn got together, Cody didn't say a word, because he knew far better then to try and tell Jack what to do. However, from the moment they got together, Cody knew what would happen. The day Robyn ran ballistically through the house in a depressed frenzy, he knew what it was, he wasn't naive. He watched her go and tell Jack, but that was it, what else was he supposed to do? He'd warned Jack once, everyone had been telling Robyn for years. The day Jared and Rastis were born, Cody was there, sitting beside Jack outside the delivery room, trying to give him a pep talk but not knowing what to say... What DO you say to a guy who got your fourteen year old sister pregnant? For awhile he was around to help, but he went right back to his ways shortly after, occasionally stopped by to help him and Robyn out, was there when Todd arrived. For a year, things were smooth, Jack got his parents house, Robyn seemed happy.... then she bolted, just like that. For an entire year Cody had almost thought his sister would change, but after that he knew he was stupid to have thought that. This was his family, after all. The 'live hard' motto couldn't be broken and how could you live hard with two sons in your way? Bringing over two bottles of rum and hauling Finn along with him, the three of them sat in the living room and drank there worries away to the best of there abilities. Since then, Cody's thought as if Robyn's name was taboo, he'd still talk to her every once and awhile, but he hardly cared enough to physically keep in touch.

Before he could even help Jack get over his own baby troubles, Cody found himself (along with his best friend, Finn Tucker) with the baby blues. Bambi Pratt, daughter of, you guessed it, Bambi, was born. Cody was called to the hospital at three in the morning to watch the birth of his baby girl and frankly, he was digusted. Things didn't get much better when she outrightly declared that if he didn't take her, she was going up for adoption. Here's the part that confuses a lot of people, Cody took her. He didn't know what possessed him to do so, why he wanted her, but he did and four days after her birth, Cody brought a crying Bambi back to Jack's house and begged him to have mercy. He did, because Cody had been begging at Jack's feet for years. In quick succession Delilah and Piper, his official favourite (and only) nieces showed up. Taking care of kids was never Cody's forte, he'd watched his little brothers now and then, but babies? He wasn't anything like Jack in that sense, to him Bambi was adorable for all of ten minutes, then the fact that her very existance depended on him made him feel sickly doused in responsibility and he'd try to dump her on Jack. The more she grew, however, the more attached he got. He never really hated his daughter, though he sometimes did regret taking her from the hospital, especially on those days where the two of them just didn't get along. Regardless, he might not of been the best father, but he was a father to her, he taught her everything he knew, that's for sure. The fact that he got married only three years after having her at sixteen was proof of that, though he was divorced only seven months later. When Jack's kids were brought to the house, Cody was always there to say hello to yet another fledgling Frost, though deep down he knows that Rastis will always be his favourite, after all, the boy does take after him.

Soon enough the draft took him and Finn away from St. Peters, waving goodbye to Jack and their young daughters as they boarded the plane overseas to fight a war that had nothing to do with them or even really anybody they knew, but it didn't matter. Cody wrote back to Jack, asked about Bambi, he's sure that the letters are still there somewhere. Every once and awhile the two men would return home to Jack and everybody else, at which point Cody would usually find himself another girlfriend, his habit of having millions of them never changing. Shortly before he went back to war for the third time, he got engaged, though the marriage never fell through. He was so convinced things were going to be fine, until the day that Finn died. He's never talked about how he went, he won't even tell Piper and Delilah the fact that he ran out in gunfire to save the rest of them, himself included. It would just hurt the girls more, he's sure. Finn Tucker is the man that Cody's always wanted to be from that day and since that day, he hasn't been remotely the same. Slightly quieter, more into drugs, obviously less happy. He took Finn's girls just like he promised to if anything happened to him, both Piper and Delilah who had previously known him as Uncle Cody. Though he hated the responsibility, the only person Cody had ever been loyal to was Finn and it's his death that keeps him occasionally coming back to the girls to make sure they're okay, even if he usually leaves them under Jack's care. With time, Cody found a sense of normalcy among drugs and everything else, while the war was laid to rest for a few years. He entered his third marriage, divorced after only a year and then found himself slowly sinking into nothing.

Taking care of Bambi quickly became his only outlet, with Jack's constant warnings about her future ringing in his head. But there was nothing he could do to stop what he'd already started, his daughter was a whore just like he and his sister had been. Telling her to find something else would be hypocritical, immoral, unjust, so he never did. He just let it all go. Then Ronnie came along, fresh at fifteen and Cody denied any feeling he had for her by turning his head, infact, he outright ignored her, thinking that he must be some kind of sick bastard to have any feelings for her whatsoever. The feelings didn't stop though, but she went away. Things were dull, he tried to monitor the girls but stuck to himself and his constantly failing relationships instead, there was a long period of depression and then the draft came, bringing him once again away from St. Peters and back to the biggest horror in his life. But now he's coming home and Ronnie, the sweet little fifteen year old now turned eighteen, is going to be there.

And she's legal now, so that makes it okay, right?
