Dear Jennifer,
I hope you don’t think this is weird or anything. We want Jacob’s welcome home to have everyone he cared about there so I was wondering if you wanted to come over for dinner the night that they all come back? I mean as Jacob’s best friend you’re top of the list and we all know he’d love to see you. Plus your cookies are on the list of the two food types he wants the day he comes back.
I mean obviously if your fiancé is coming home too you’ll want to be with him but if you’re free would you like to join us for dinner from seven? It’s nothing particularly fancy, just some lasagne and some wine for the adults. You don’t need to dress up or anything. I’m rambling, sorry, I’m just so looking forward to seeing everyone home.
Sorry if this is a little out of the blue, I just thought it would be nice to ask.

Christina, I don't think it's wierd at all and I'd love to be there. I think what you're doing is sweet, and it's nice that you'd think to include me. Besides, I would never pass up on your mom's cooking! I'll be sure to bake cookies, just like I promised him. Funny, everyone seems to be quite the little bakers since the news of the boys' returning.
Oh, and don't worry about Liam. I don't really know what terms we're on as far as spending time together. I make a pretty pathetic bride. Anyways, the point is, I'm free. Thanks, Christina, I'll see you soon.

Dear Jennifer,Glad you're coming. I can't wait for them all to come home.
Don't worry about being a pathetic bride, I'm a pathetic girlfriend. I've abandoned my boyfriend for my brother. Actually I might invite CJ, but Jacob isn't too fond of him so really it's a recipe for disaster.
