At first glance, one may dub Coralee a classic beauty, with her porcelain skin, delicate face, and glassy blue eyes. It is true that she presents many of the same features that a china doll would, however, Cora’s looks go further than that. Each of her features seem to match a particular characteristic of hers, coming together to portray an overall appearance that is certainly as vibrant as her personality. For example, Coralee’s most notable feature would be her eyes. Said eyes are of a bright blue, that seems to bring life to every glance, stare, and gaze she serves. The color matches the animated aspect of her personality, but is not the only factor of her remarkable eyes. There is also the shape, a cat-like outline that adds just enough edge before Cora’s eyes go from being lively and mysterious to downright intimidating. Naturally long lashes sweep upwards, with the aid of mascara, to open up her eyes even more. Corlee rarely wears liner, as it isn’t really needed- her eyes are bold enough on their own. Besides, she had always strayed from wearing too much make up, preferring to keep her looks natural.
A second feature of Coralee’s that stands out is her flaxen, blonde hair. Corey is proud to say that the shade is completely natural, the only lighter streaks highlighted by the summer sun. This very well could be another part of her effort in remaining a natural beauty, or for the plain sake that she likes her hair the way it is. From time to time, she may grow bored with it, and wonder what she would look like as a brunette. Well, truth be told, Cora wouldn’t be doing herself any justice to change her hair color. It suits her perfectly; bright, unique, natural, and not to mention how it is the ideal blend with her skin tone. As far as the style, Coralee wouldn’t consider it to be anything all that special. Her tresses fall in long, soft waves, just brushing the middle of her back. A few pieces are shorter in the front, angled, to frame her face.
Coralee’s face is balanced with both sharp and soft features. The heart-like shape is built of a strong jaw-line that is delicate all the while. Cheekbones are high-set and rounded, subtle, but more prominent when a smile spreads across her face. Coralee’s nose is not her favorite feature, but she doesn’t mind it. It isn’t very wide, nor narrow, but a moderate width and length, turning into the tiniest pert at the end. When exposed to excessive sunlight, a small scatter of freckles paints the bridge of Corey’s dainty nose, sweeping across her cheekbones as well. These freckles add a hint of innocence to Coralee’s overall appearance, something she isn't always particularly ecstatic about, but she doesn’t care enough to cover them up. Another one of Coralee’s more notable features would be her lips. They’re soft and full, the upper lip tracing a perfect “cupid’s bow.”
Always an active girl, Coralee has kept her body in good shape. However, she’ll be the first to tell you that it is nothing to drool over, regardless of the fact that she is content with it. She doesn’t have that luscious hourglass silhouette, but she is not a straight line like high fashion supermodels. It would be just to define Coralee’s overall figure as slender and lean, and athletic as well. Coralee has been a dancer since she was a little girl, and there’s no doubt that this hobby has contributed to her body type. Various types of dancing and conditioning has toned her form all over, but moderately. The girl is anything but a body-builder, that’s for sure.

Personality;;
Like any teen-aged girl, there are many facets to Miss Coralee Oaks. Those that know her, or have simply been acquainted with her, find that she is a truly vibrant character, sparky indeed. Coralee is full of life and claims that she would like to make the most of hers. But then again, who doesn’t? The girl is always up for a fun time, and she doesn't need a wild party scene to have one. Whether it’s a night out with her friends or staying low key with a guy, or even spending good ol’ quality time by her lonesome, Cora always tries to enjoy herself. It's one of her favored characteristics- her ability to make the most of boring situations with her creativity and spontaneity. She would be the one to suggest making S'mores in the parking lot, taking a joy ride at 2 in the morning, pool-hopping; whatever. While she doesn’t come close to being a daredevil, it’s safe to say that Corey certainly has her fun, even if what she’s doing isn’t considered the epitome of fun to others.
Around her closest friends, and sometimes those she doesn’t know as well, Coralee can be a goofball, and all of her quirks are unleashed. She’s rather unpredictable- you don’t always know what is going to happen when you’re with her or what words are going to roll off her tongue when you ask her a question. However, you can expect that what she says will be truthful. To Corey, honesty is the best policy, and in many cases, the only policy. If you want to know if that shirt really does make you look fat, Corey is your go-to girl. But instead of being a complete bitch, because she is quite nice, she’ll say something along the lines of, “Why don’t you try on one that flatters you more?” Cor can’t completely sugarcoat the deal, it’s just not in her, but she would never intentionally hurt someone else’s feelings. That’s not to say it hasn’t happened before, though. Cor has been known to act or speak before she thinks, so sometimes, her impulse-acting gets the best of her, and she turns out looking more blunt than honest. As a result of her honesty, Coralee is anything but two-faced. While she may not go out of her way to make enemies, she would never kiss anyone’s ass for approval. She sees that as pathetic.
Coralee proved that she was a bright girl at an early age, and quite witty at that. Linked to this wit is Cor’s sarcasm. It's not her most admirable trait, that's for sure, but is something nearly unavoidable with her dry sort of humor. Some find Coralee’s remarks to be hilarious, while others have more trouble finding the humor in them. If that’s the case, Cor accepts the fact that she wove herself an awkward situation, and simply laughs it off. While it may not stand out right away, Coralee’s sarcasm is sort of like a defense method. If someone says something she doesn’t like, there’s a good chance her words will be dripping with sarcasm, even if only mumbled under her breath. It’s like being honest, but with a twist. Sort of. Some consider it weak, and it may be, but it’s just a part of who Coralee is. She’s fine with how she is, and even gets a kick out of her own comments now and then. Yes, it would be no surprise if you witnessed her laughing at one of her own jokes, especially when no one else is.
Among other flaws, Lee is extremely indecisive. She doesn't always know what she wants, from which ice cream flavor to choose to how she feels about a boy. With more complicated issues, it gets to the point where she must consult with a friend or two, blending her opinions with others to figure out what she wants. This is reflected in how lately she finds the need to have “girl talks” with Olivia or Lily, because once again, she can’t figure out what her own heart is telling her. Seriously, this girl even confuses herself. But if you can put up with the confusion, she will hold you in very high regards until you break the bond. Especially guys, seeing as many tend to have a hard time understanding the female’s crazy mind. So, when it all comes down to it, Cora can really just over-think things and psyche herself out. When she does make up her mind or has her heart set on something, she sticks to it. She isn’t extremely stubborn, or a push-over, but right in the middle at a healthy medium.
SPARKY. SPONTANEOUS. SARCASTIC. CONFUSING.</span>

History;;
After having their first child, Kevin, it was almost surprising that the Oaks couple were going to be welcoming a second child into their family. It wasn’t that they didn’t love their first child, or children in general, but it seemed that a farm wasn’t the easiest place to raise a child. There was always work to be done, day and night, and it was difficult to work efficiently with a toddler always running about your feet. For the Oaks, working on the farm was extremely important. It was how they earned the money that would keep the family firmly planted in their home, and food on the table. They didn’t have extreme financial issues, but nothing was handed to them on a silver platter. Although the couple continued to work, not once did they hire a nanny to care for Kevin. They wanted to spend time with him, give him a “normal” life, which later would turn out to be different than Kevin and even Cora’s interpretation of normal. Anyways, for the Oaks family, it was smooth sailing for a while. They made it through with the money they made, Kevin showed and interest in machinery, which Mr. Oaks must have connected with a second generation of working on the farm. Then the second and final Oaks baby threw the family a curveball.
Her name was Coralee Emerson, a beautiful baby, but that didn’t keep her from being a burden. That sounds so horrible, and her parents would never admit it. But, no matter what they argued, Cora certainly brought adversities from the day she came home from the hospital. Just as Kevin had caused the family income to suffer a bit, a second child doubled the struggle. However, Coralee also brough home joy to her parents’. She had blue eyes and blonde hair, just like her older brother. That seemed to be the only similarities between the siblings, at least when they were younger. Like many brothers and sisters, the two bickered like there was no tomorrow. After all, not only were they three years apart, but also different genders. If Kevin showed an interest in anything other than machinery, it was picking on Coralee. It was his way of dealing with his jealousy, and his parents were convinced that it was only to achieve more attention. As a baby, people would stop the little family on the sidewalks to peer in at Coralee in the carriage, fawning over her angelic face and tiny hands. Even as a toddler Coralee seemed to steal the spotlight, but never intentionally. She just had that air about her that evoked curiosity among the people around her, like she had more knowledge and secrets in that young mind of hers. Okay, now and then she enjoyed the extra attention, but she completely grew out of that phase within a few more years.
While Cora and Kevin never became the closest of friends, and still annoyed each other like heck, Cora would be lying to say she didn’t care about her older brother. She was never all that close with her parents, and it seemed that she and Kevin had this in common. Besides, Kevin was Coralee’s family. Whether she liked it or not, she felt like she had no choice but to love him. And she did, it just wasn’t expressed as clearly as it could be. When Coralee was about thirteen years old, her care for Kevin was actually evident for the first time in a long time. She walked home from school, like she did every other day, but instead of walking straight to her room to only mumble some sort of greeting to her older brother, she witnessed something that scared her more than anything else she had ever seen. Cora’s father was furiously beating Kevin. She didn’t need to hear why or what had happened, all she cared about at that moment was Kevin, and the fact that she was scared shitless of her dad. After being speechless for a split-second, Coralee screamed at her father, her cries forcing the man to stop. Claiming that she was too young to understand, Cora’s father told her to go upstairs to her room, for he and Kevin had to talk. Too timid to argue with him, she went to her room as told, only to listen from the top step. Part of her was curious, and another part of her wanted to make sure that talking was the only thing going to be done. She managed to hear that Kevin was supposedly ‘gay’ and that he was to ‘leave and never return home.’
Corey may have been just a bystander, but that is not to say that the day’s happenings didn’t have an effect on her. It pained her to see her brother leave, even if they weren’t close. It seemed illogical for a father to turn his back on his own son, for a family to just shrink in a matter of minutes. Kevin's absence shifted even more attention onto Cora. Her parents watched her like a hawk, her mother practically obsessed with her daugther being a perfect angel, as though she was an only child. Attention was all right, like being more spoiled, but Cora didn't like how her parents seemed to forget that she had a brother. And, what teen-aged girl wants to be so overprotected? She was just thirteen, but she knew very well what the word ‘gay’ meant. And from that moment on, Coralee could never shake one question: did that mean she could be gay too? She never found herself attracted to any girls, but she couldn’t help but wonder. What if it was genetic? Why should the so-called gene for homosexuality skip over her? Well, Cora may always be a bit curious, but as far as she knows, she’s attracted to males. To reinforce that statement, Coralee began dating when she was fifteen, cue Johnny Whitlow. At the start of the relationship, Cora was convinced that she was in love with the boy. He was sweet, courteous, charming, a real gentleman. The two had fun in each other’s company, and there was an undeniable physical attraction. However, lately Coralee’s eyes have been drifting and she hates herself for it. She doesn’t find it fair to Johnny, especially considering the fact that her interest has been sparked by his younger brother, Turner. Cora’s been trying to stop herself, but it appears to be uncontrollable, the way she feels. She’ll always love and care for Johnny, but she’s no longer in love with him. He makes her happy, but what about all of those other crazy, in-love feelings?

AKA. It's good, but Peter just needs to look over the history and make sure there's no bugs. He came up with all the canons, so he knows 'em better than anyone else. You can post and whatnot, but make sure to come back here and see what he has to say!
