I don't really know who took most of these pictures. all I know is that I've never been able to throw them away, it doesn't seem fair to him to do that. he was the first boy I ever really loved; he and I had piper and delilah. every once in awhile, I take them out. sometimes, they really put a smile on my face. others, they make me want to cry.
on the staircase at home;; we were spending the afternoon there, the parents weren't home. yeah, that was a great decision on our part. well, on the parents', too. they never told me I couldn't have guests over..
though it's probably not all that clear by the expression on my face, I know exactly when this was taken. right after finn told me he loved me. yeah, the face doesn't look like it, but he did. I was surprised, okay?
...but I got over that surprise real fast.
...a few weeks later, we got an even bigger surprise -- hello, baby. this is one of the last pictures I have of me in my house.
this is right outside of the hospital nursery, the day piper was born. we were the youngest new parents there, but I'm telling you, none of those babies were anywhere near as beautiful as our piper. ...this is one of those pictures that actually hurts to look at; we look like we really might have had a chance.
