Christina says: "Aunt Kendra, well there's no one else quite like her really. She's fantastic and I love her to pieces but every since Dad died she's taken over the role of mother. I don't want her, or need her, to take my mom's role right now and I certainly don't want her lectures. She's trying to get me and Fred to sort through things and neither one of us is really ready yet. Still she's family and that's important."
Kenny says: "My only neice and I admit I am protective of her, she's rushing in to fast and none of them are coping as they should. I may be a pain in the butt but I love them all and acting mommy while Leah is unable to has become part of my job description. Not the best part I'll admit but I have to help out. Fights and lectures are just part of that."

Frederic says: "Okay, so I used to absolutely adore Aunt Kenny. Before Dad... well, you know, she was just that awesome Aunt. And then it happened, and she sort of came in and took over as our mother, even though MOM is still here. That kind of annoyed me off the bat, and then she drug along her daughter, who, though she's my cousin, I DISLIKE. Of course, she couldn't leave the torture at that. No, she's taken to bugging me and Chris about getting back into the swing of things, and getting over all this stuff. Can't she see that we're fine how we are? But, don't get me wrong, she's still my aunt, and when she's not being all mom-ish or trying to get me to 'sort through my feelings', she's okay."
Kenny says: "Freddy is by far the most reluctant to let me in, it was all so different when I was just the fun aunt who came to stay for weekends and let them run wild but now I'm taking the role their mother can't fulfill they're angry and annoyed. They don't seem to realise that someone has to care for them. They are all still children, Leah is having a hard enough time coping and I'm here to help her. That means I play mother or guardian or whatever until she is better and until then. They can like it or lump it."
