Most Notable Feature;; Charming smile :D
Appearance;;
Finn is shorter than Johnny, but taller than Turner. He turned out to look most like his father out of the three boys, with Turner looking more like Laura and Johnny being a complete mix. Finn has shorter dark hair that is typically messy and sticks out everywhere, because he just doesn't care. He tries to shave everyday, but most days he sports a little stylish growth on his chin. His dark brown eyes seem to swallow light when he looks at you, and his thick eyelashes ring his eyes in darkness as well. He has what could be considered a finely featured face, but he hates to think of it that way. Some say he's the better looking of the Whitlow boys.

Finn takes good care of himself, hygienically speaking, as he is typically dependant on his good looks to swindle some money from old ladies. As for clothes and adornments, Finn likes his trinkets. And he loves his sunglasses. A typical outfit for him is an old teeshirt and jacket over a pair of well-worn jeans and a pair of sandals or sneakers. He's a very casual kind of guy. His frame is lean, made leaner from his addiction, but still well-built, as he is paranoid about not seeming weak. Every now and again, if there's too much moisture in the air, you can see the stiffness in his left hip and his slight limp. He's still handsome, and the smiles, while fake, come all too easily these days.

&& His Father's Heart Breaking
&& Rodents of any kind
Habits;;
>> Aren't drugs enough?
>> Being the 'big brother' far too late in the game
Personality;;
&&Blunt&& Finn never sugar-coats anything. If those jeans make you look fat, he's gonna tell you that you look like an overfilled water balloon. He doens't have the time or the patience...or even the wherewithall to give two shakes of a rat's ass about other people's feelings or egos. His is the only one that needs feeding, his ego and his addictions. He nearly never lies, but bends the truth or conviently 'forgets' to mention things. It's one of his wort habits, but he's not about to change, and he expects everyone around him to be as brutally forthcoming to him as well.

&&Sarcastic&& Finn has the bad habit of saying 'fantastic' in a manner that would lead anyone to believe the opposite. He's sarcastic...sometimes harshly so, and so good at it that people sometimes forget that he's being sarcastic and take his jibes and mean words to heart. He's trying to be less sarcastic, but old habits die hard, and he learned the art of sarcasm in the war. You know...you laugh to keep from crying? Well it works for him...he hides his weakness with sarcasm, and it also helps to push most people away when they get too close for comfort.

&&Fraudulent&& Probably the best actor of our time, Finn is amazingly good at turning on the charm and the smiles and compliments to get what he wants. He's good at persuading friends and family into giving him even more money so he can buy drugs/gamble. His sweet-talk is world-reknowned, and he's very good at buttering up the ladies with his easy talk and quick smile. Unfortunatly, it's all a front.

&&Hot-headed&& Like any drug addict, if you try to stage and intervention, get in his way, or refuse to give him what he wants...he's gonna explode. For the most part, Finn's a happy kind of guy, unless you talk about his addiction or try to pity him. Just don't bother, because you'll probably end up with a cigarette burn and a glare as he walks away from you for the last time.

&&Envious&& Finn hates who he is sometimes, and he hates that everyone who wants something from the Whitlows looks to Johnny because he's the responsible one. Finn gets tired of being overlooked, and occasionally gets pissed because of Johnny's role in the family. He feels like he should be looked up to, but at the same time, who would look up to him. He's failed as a big brother.

Reckless. Hustler. Sardonic. Brash.

History;;
Finnegan Atticus Whitlow was born on a grey and gloomy day, October 21st. As the first son of three, little Finn had no idea what sort of things were going to happen in his life. He was joined each year of his life by another brother, first John and then Turner. As a young boy, he recalls simple things about his mother, mostly when he trips out. Soft touches and her perfume, and maybe a whisper or two. He almost positive that these 'memories' aren't real, but he holds them dear to him nonetheless. His mother, Laura, died early in her life, leaving Atticus to raise three boys and support them with his work.

More often than not, the boys were left to their own devices, which usually meant that Finn would stray and leave Johnny to take care of Turner. From the earliest age he could remember, Finn was a wanderer. He was never home, always off somewhere doing God knew what. Johnny never took after him, and Finn is grateful for that. At least one of the Whitlows had to have a good head on their shoulders. Finn was always reckless, a gambler at heart and a charmer for all time. He could talk a girl into kissing him with just two words, at least that's what he always said.

At the age of fifteen, he was drafted, and that's when the real trouble started. He didn't want to leave, but he really had no choice, and so the upstart had a hard time in the army. He could never seem to follow orders at first, until he got his first taste of blood. After that, it was hardcore all the way. He was a good soldier, perhaps too good. While on a mission on a dark and stormy night he was ambushed, and a bullet went into his left hip, shattering bone and muscle. Through the miracle of medicine, he was put back together, almost like new. He now has a slight limp on the left side, but pain that lingers and gets worse some days.

He was sent back home, put on as a part-time soldier, which means that he gets to sit around more often than anything, and given a prescription for Morphine. Morphine turned out to be his best friend...at least for a while. The pain returns daily, and with each new sun-rise, Finn found himself sinking deeper and deeper into full-blown addiction. He switched to heroin, because it made more of an impact. He tries to keep his addiction away from public light, not wanting anyone to pity him, and even hides his limp to keep people from knowing. The only people who know about his problems are his dad and Turner.

Once home, Finn realized how absent he had been in his families life, and tried to participate more, but the secret pain and the addiction keep him from sharing his world with anyone.

QUOTE
Wandering through the convoluted and weird halls in formed in the Mirror room was an odd experience. Particularly when one is alone, in the still of the near morning. Outside, the world was grey and wet, the sun had not yet risen to chase off the precipitation and yet here was Lord Rafferty, wandering as usual. He hardly ever slept, and when he did, it wasn't alone. However, here, at court, he had attempted to sleep the last three nights alone in his own chambers and had found himself awake and pacing by 3 am.

He had already decided to explore this darkened room by the time he was dressed and had sent his manservant off to bed himself. Walking around the room now, he cocked his head sideways as he glanced at himself in one of the strangest mirrors. It was just a swirl of grey and black, his limbs seemed disembodied and his face was twisted. To him, it looked like,

"A painting of lover's limbs...entertwined..." He said to himself, not bothering to lower his voice, as he knew himself to be alone. He gazed at his own reflection for a moment longer before travelling onwards throughout the room. He was wearing his standard and unsurprising black doublet, with silver details. His hands were behind his back as he walked, deep blue eyes the color of the coldest ocean gazing at each mirror with a cocked head.

"How....odd..." He muttered to himself.
