Figured you should know that before you even started.
REGISTERING.
[one]. When you join, register with a first, and last name. Lower case. If you plan to play a canon character, yes, you must register with that name. If your character has a nickname, join with THAT as the first name.
[two]. Do not post anywhere until your application is posted AND accepted. You may PM a staff member to check your application if you feel that it's waited too long in the accepting area.
[three]. If one person is trying out for a canon character and another person posts there application first, then the application that is first posted will be judged first. Sorry, you snooze you lose.
[four]. If we don't find your application up to par, don't complain. Just try again, okay?
[five]. Once you are accepted, go on to make a relationship page here and claim your celebrity in the sign up section.GENERAL.
[one]. The word of the staff is law, but wasn't that to be expected?
[two]. No arguments. Especially not in the cbox. If you must fight, refrain from doing it in a place that other members can see it. PMs were invented for a reason.
[three]. The staff don't mind questions, at all. What we do mind is being harassed or told what to do.
[four]. When typing, don't forget to make sure people knew what you mean by something. Ex. "Haha, you're fugly." See, that can be a joke if you're one kind of person, some people find calling each other bitches funny... personally I don't get it, but hey, to each there own. Something such as "Haha, you're fugly. =)." would be much more appropriate. Smilies fix everything.
[five]. This is a teen rated site. Sex is allowed, but don't get explicit. Please, for the love of all things holy. You have no need to mark a topic with an [R], just expect to run into them, okay? Swearing is allowed if not welcomed, because it's a fact of life, soldiers swear and teenagers swear. So, fire off those f-bombs.
[six]. We'd like you to be considerably active, as in come on at least once or twice a week to check your posts, etcetera. Preferably more, but that's what you'll need to stay on the site.
[seven]. No despies, no godmodding, no twinks, no chatspeak in character. Don't know what that is? Look it up. If you're experienced you've probably dealt with people like that before and understand those terms.
[eight]. Post length should be a good three paragraphs and should stay under six paragraphs, unless you're both comfortable doing more. It can be VERY stressful to post both a long and short roleplay, so keep it moderate. The very special phrase is 'sinking ships'. You're not writing a story by yourself, you're writing it with two people, who should be doing an equal amount of work.
[nine]. Girl to guy ratio. You all know about this. Please, try to keep it even! If your first character is a girl, please think about making a guy character instead or just not making the second character, though two females is allowed. But don't worry about that, since the guys are dying out and all. Just keep to the canons, and you can't go wrong.
[ten]. Two characters max. Alright? It's going to be hard enough for you to keep up with two strange stories, let's keep it there- and don't you dare take on another one if you can't do the personality right, or won't be able to keep both evenly active. No favouring.GRAPHICS.
[one]. Do NOT stretch the board! PLEASE! And the height should not be over 350 pixels, end of story.
[two]. You may use avatars for your signature, two rows of three is suitable.
[three]. Credit, if you request graphics from somebody, from PC or RcR.
[four]. Not really a rule, but here are some great places to find icons. Livejournal, Photobucket and if you're willing to request graphics, there is Pandora's Closet.
