Intro: this tutorial is going to easily show you how to create an ice effect for a forum sig.

start by choosing an image, then lasso it on 20 pxl featered, cut it from the original image, deselect and it should look like this.



Then on the second layer, filter>render>clouds, using black as the background, and #7DA8B8 as the foreground. You should get something like this.



Now create two new layers, ctrl+shift+n. like this



Set the Layer selected to Linear Dodge, and use a grunge brush, with this color #7DA8B8



After applying a few grunge brushes ,you should start to get a brushing effect like this.



Then change the Layer selected to Lighten Mode.



Then set your Foreground color to #FFFFFF, then begin to use your Grunge brush, you should get something like this.



Now on the layer with the white brush, add noise with these settings.



You are now coming to the end of the piece, it should look something like this.



Now you can add you own effects and text, if you want. Thanks
